Goku Super Saiyan 3 Level 5 – Majin Buu Saga

Ultra Rare - #152

Personality

Power: Constant Combat Power: At the beginning of every turn, choose 2 of your Goku's lower personality levels. For the remainder of that turn, Goku has the Powers and Constant Combat Powers of the chosen 2 levels.

Two COTDs in one day… yays!

Only typical to have Goku get a level 5 and have it be super good at level 3. The Babidi one is sweet, but this one can be just as good or better if used right.

Only problem is it is a UR. But no matter. You’ll probably never use it, but if you do… oh the terror.

Your lower levels are very important here. But the key is some people will go and choose the King’s Pupil level 4 once, get drills (you can reuse it because it is a new level), and then start choosing hero/saiyan level 1 and 2 and Earth’s Hero level 3 for massive card advantage. I mean… big card advantage sir, with high PLs, massive Drills that give card advantage good… how is Goku SS3 bad…

He is just that good. Sure he doesn’t do much in standard, but he’s a lot of fun to use if you get there and don’t win. With a ton of cards at your disposal, you should be easily taking the advantage. He has so much versatility it is uncanny. Key are the lower levels. Choose the right ones and you’ll be all over.

I mean… for TE… why not clash your way up here for kicks… card advantage = yummy. Some powers are earth shattering, but this one can be, if you use it to its maximum potential. Don’t forget to read the other COTDs to know how to use him.

Standard: 3.4 out of 5.0 (you kinda won’t use him, you know) Tuff Enuff: 4.3 out of 5.0 (definitely one of the best Level 5s in the game)

Sealed: N/A (not gonna happen… if it does, sue me… pull Goku and the UR… and level 4… go away…) ~matthewlow

Mewfive Goku, Super Saiyan 3 Level 5

So many possibilities. Who would NOT love to copy two of Goku's powers? I could go on and on, but you could combine two card drawing powers to net 2 to 3 more cards a turn. You could give him a couple Defense Shields/blocks.

How about another couple physical or energy attacks? The possibilities are endless, go forth and smite thine enemies. :P

Standard - 4.5/5. The only problem, is getting there.
TE - 4.6/5.

Goku, Super Saiyan 3 Level 5 #152 from Buu Saga

Power: Constant Combat Power: At the beginning of every turn, choose 2 of your Goku's lower personality levels. For the remainder of that turn, Goku has the Powers and Constant Combat Powers of the chosen 2 levels.

I actually one this ultra rare by placing 2nd at the standard tournament at
Gen Con two days before worlds! Anyway, this card is awesome, and be broken if it were not for the fact it is an ultra rare and a level 5. Most combats you will get two extra cards just from this power, but you can also use it with the Goku, The King's Pupil Level 4 to get 5 drills out, or any of his other levels to increase damage or other stuff. This card is pretty fun, but if you are using Goku's Farewell to get here, watch out for those Aura Clashes and Are You Tuff Enuffs. If you aren't using the Goku, The King's Pupil Level 4, you might as well just use the Goku, The Legendary from Babidi Saga; which is a good alternative for players who can't get this ultra rare. In my opinion, this is one of the best level 5's out there.

Ratings:

Standard - 4
Tuff Enuff - 4

Sealed Deck - 1 (you probably won't get this card, and if you do, you
probably won't get a goku level 4 as well as this)
