Android 18, the mom

Matthew Low
Android 18 the Mom Level 1 – Kid Buu Saga
Uncommon - #34
Personality

Power: Energy attack doing 6 life cards of damage. If you have "The Car" in play, this attack cannot be stopped.

Meh. More or less she’s an overpowered Vinegar that’s really situational. That’s it.

She’s a decent ally, seeing an energy for 6 is nothing to shake a finger at. There aren’t many that do that much, so that’s a great bonus. The only thing is her Defense Shield ally is normally better in decks that stick around zero a lot. Otherwise, an energy is not bad, especially for this much damage.

Having the Car in play normally would occur if A17 is around, unless you want to Yajirobe it in. Making this attack unstoppable can be interesting, especially the fact she’s an Android. That makes her a lot better than Vinegar, with actual stable levels. She can have a bunch of support cards on her side as well because she’s an Android.

The down part is as an MP, the choice is normally the Cell Saga one. Attacking is her specialty, and you’d normally see the CS one for that. Being able to pull one card out of 6 is extremely useful, and I’d normally take that over this.

As an ally, I would normally take the defense as defense is normally valued to me over attack. But in decks like SWK, this ally is welcomed with open arms. Test out both Android 18s and see if you get pummeled at high power stages or low. Then you will know which ally is better for your deck.

Standard: 2.0 out of 5.0 (use as ally)
Tuff Enuff: 2.1 out of 5.0 (ditto)
Sealed: 4.7 out of 5.0 (an ally, and she has an energy for 6, and you can use her whether you are hero or villain, just not Majin? How broke is that?) ~matthewlow

Wednesday - Android 18, the Mom

YAY! Krillin's wife! Close enough to a Krillin card >_>..Matthew didn't
choose any for the upcoming weeks..meh..

"Power: Energy attack doing 6 life cards of damage. If "The Car" is in play, this attack cannot be stopped."

Yay! Another unstoppable attack for the card game ^_^...she will be a VERY good ally, especially for her brother :p..Android 17, who has the fun
abiility to grab "The Car" from his Life deck at level one. Of course,
she'll probably appear in Android 20 decks, that run both 17 AND 18 as
allies..meh....this is going to cause trouble for anyone who doesn't own
Cell's Presence (like me..*mutter*). Her power will also be good for Dragon Ball Capturing..

Standard: 2.0
Tuff Enuff: 3.3

Android 18. Brings back some memories of worlds 2002, when almost every deck there was Android 18, either black, blue, or orange. Anyway, on to the card. I would personally rather use Vinegar, his energy attack will always be unstoppable, he doesn't have to rely on a crappy card like "the car" to make it unstoppable. But this power is alright. It is nothing compared to the Cell Saga level 1 before score changed it so it wasn't really great, but after the change from her first level 1 from Cell Saga, I would still use the Cell Saga Level 1. This is a good ally though, especially for those android ally decks who had to use other bad level 1's of Android 18 before.

Ratings:

Standard - 2.25 (probably be used as an ally)

Tuff Enuff - 2.25 " "

Sealed Deck - 3.75 (good level 1 ally, plus it is a rogue personality, so it
can be used in any deck)

I Really like this Personality level for her. This would be great in any ally deck and she is a rouge so you can use her in any deck besides Majin. She would work well in a deck with Android 17 also because some of his personality levels let him pull out "The Car". I would actually use her in an orange TE deck as the MP. Who wouldn't want an energy attack for 6 that can't be stopped if you have" The car in play. If you have 3 Android Attack drills in play That is 12 cards not counting your mastery. She would be good in a Freestyle Energy too. I bet you can guess what kind of decks i like to play.Anyway I really like this card. She has needed a new one for awhile.

Standard-2.5
TE- 3.5
KingBroly  KingBroly here,

Sorry about only sending my Yajirobe, Retired (Lv.1) card review only. I had a lot of stuff to do. So, here's the rest of my DBZ Reviews:

Android 18, the Mom (Lv.1)

Standard Play: 2.5/5
This card is pretty good as an ally. If the car's out, can't be stopped. In the world where DB decks rule, it might be pointless, but you might be able to capture a DragonBall. For Pure ally decks, a 6-Card Energy ATK for a Lv.1 ally is a must! For a Main Personality, honestly, the Cell Saga Android 18 Level 1 is about 1,000,000 times better. It was about 10,000,000,000, but they changed it. Anyway, if you use A-18 as an ally, use this, if not, then don't play it at all.

Tuff Enuff: 2/5
Unless you're using a HARDCORE ALLY DECK that relies on allies like this, don't play this card. Main Personalities don't stay on level 1 very long here.
