Matthew Low
Krillin, Z Warrior Level 2 – Buu Saga
Uncommon - #72
Personality

Power: Energy attack doing 3 life cards of damage. This attack does an additional +X life cards of damage, X = Krillin’s current PUR. Lower your opponent’s anger 2 levels.

Just so you all know, Krillin’s card says it is a Constant Combat Power, but that was a misprint. It is a power.

Krillin’s current PUR is 3, which isn’t shabby. It matches his Level 2 HT from the Cell Saga (Trunks Saga Redemption). Thus, if you do the math, his power would do a whopping 7 life cards of damage (assuming you declare a Tokui-Waza). That may seem like it is a lot, but his Cell Saga HT is much better.

His power levels are a tiny bit higher, but it is nothing to be overjoyed about. If anything, you might as well ignore it.

Krillin’s power does some nice damage, and if his PUR is modified with cards like Dende Healing Drill or Black Zarbon Transformation Drill, this attack can do more damage. The only thing is doing that is not worth the effort. You’d be able to deal a tiny bit more damage while wasting valuable deck space. In Krillin decks, you should be going for that nasty Level 3 from World Games.

The built in anger reduction is a nice treat though; it might help in some tight games. That is generally the lone thing that sets this one apart from the Cell Saga HT. The Cell Saga one has two nice energies that drain more stages (helps with ally) and can be modified separately, not to mention that they’d need to be blocked separately. This one comes all in one blow, but has the added effect that might help a tiny bit in Standard.

This Krillin can also be an ally, but that’s not a bright idea at all. I’d stick with the Cell Saga Level 1.

Standard: 1.5 out of 5.0 (this only gets this high because of the anger reduction; use the CS HT)

Tuff Enuff: 1.3 out of 5.0 (this has a higher potential to overkill, but I would still just go with the CS HT and Anger Management/Are You Tuff Enuff??? with it, or just jump a level)

Sealed: 0.5 out of 5.0 (you’ll never be able to use him… pretty much. You have to pull a matching level 4 and get to level 2; good luck) ~matthewlow

Trunks
Krillin Z warrior - Buu Saga

Bahhh whats up with this? I dont really wanna rate personality cards. Oh well whatever. Well first you can tell about the big screw up score printed. But that was fixed before anything else. Anyway energy attack 3 and it does +X  X= PUR. So yeah its not as good as the HT level 2 Redemption Krillin. If you can play weird stuff like dende's healing drills to make his PUR go higher you can make it do more damage. But just stick to the HT lv.2

Friday - krillin, Z Warrior

Though this isn't nearly as good as Krillin, the Hero (level 2 HT). It can
at least be run as an ally, an amazing one :p. You won't really see this
ran as a main personality in any deck, unless the player can't get there
hands on Krillin, the Hero (level 2 HT). As an ally inflicting damage like that is just great ^^...

Standard: 1.5
tuff Enuff: 3.0
Mewfive Krillin, Z Warrior
Ooooh. I like this card, hehehe. You could use him as part of your Krillin MP set, or even as an Ally. As an MP, I would use him in Blue or maybe Freestyle to protect Drills. Blue has Blue Thrusting Blast to increase your PUR by 2, fun. You can also use 3 Dende Healing Drills. With a little luck, you can make the attack do 14 or more life cards.
Or you can use him as an Ally to an MP like Dende to increase his PUR to 4-10, when Dende is at Lv.3. Granted, it may not be as effective as using him as an MP, but the other Allies would more than be able to cover the slack. If Dende Healing Drill affects all personalities in play, I would prefer using him as an Ally to using him as an MP.
Standard - 4/5
TE- About the same. 4/5
