Majin Buu Level 5 – Buu Saga
Ultra Rare - #151

Power: Focused physical attack doing 10 power stages of damage, or shuffle 10 cards from your discard pile into your Life Deck instead.

Oh boy. Another Ultra Rare. Not bad, but not something I’d jump for joy about.

Buu’s got a nice level 5, being able to choose to lay the smackdown or stay defensive. It can work nicely in Tuff Enuff, stalling a few turns and smacking down a few others. The only thing is I don’t see it being super strong compared to others like Super Saiyan 3 Goku; extra card draws seem better to me.

It is in a sense better than Vegeta’s and many of the Goku ones. I would also take this over Gohan’s as well. It is not bad, but if it did +10, it would be a whole lot better.

Buu anger is not terribly bad, but I can see Fusion will bring it a little better. Buu only has one level that helps anger a ton (level 3, but attacking Buu has level 1). Bee also messes up Buu. One of these physicals can hurt a lot if Buu gets there, opening up for a big smackdown with Buu’s high PL. Focused helps it a bit. It wouldn’t be something I would Goku’s Farewell or attempt to Are You Tuff Enuff??? or Aura Clash to. It is a nice supporting power and would be something to fear a little if Buu gets there.

Well, at least Buu gets a level 5. Thing is, Buu is good. So having a level 5 just to have one… a good thing.

Standard: 3.2 out of 5.0 (can stall or beatdown, not terribly bad, messes up 4 level anger) Tuff Enuff: 3.7 out of 5.0 (can get here and isn’t too shabby)

Sealed: 1.3 out of 5.0 (highly unlikely you’ll get all of Buu’s levels and get enough anger) ~matthewlow

Friday - Majin Buu 5

Eh, what can I say. Its very good as far as level 5's go, and can be a beast in TE. But beyond that, its a level 5. So, i'll have to simply rate it on the scale of other level 5's, rather than against all the cards as a whole.

Perfection. Only Trunks LV 5 is better than this. Nothing much to say, other than the fact that he's awesome in any format.

Team Scrub Majin Buu Level 5

Wow! Ten stages or shuffle 10 cards back in. This card is obviously good for dragonball or beatdown. Buu is very good because he can fit into so many different types of decks. Definitely run this if you play Buu ;) If you can get one :p Although, I'd think he'd have a higher PUR than Brolly =/ But I am just a Scrub. When you read this I am almost definitely alread in the top 64 so I would just like to thank you all for your monetary contributions and support ;D

AJC Majin Buu 5:

I was lucky enough to pull this card out of a pack 2 weeks ago >_>.  Anyway, wow whenever I use this card I always heal any 10 cards.  It's like having two cookie's per combat without the powerup.  The focused physical attack for 10ps is ok, but since it's not +10 it's nothing special.  Level 5 can win you games combined with the other great lvls of majin buu.  I would mainly run level  5 in heal/defensive buu decks, or to avoid highest MP victory in standard.  In certain decks it is worth AC or AYTE to lvl 5, it has won me many games.  This is one of the best level 5's out right now.  His power level is in the highest bracket all the time,  making him the strongest MP in the game until fusion saga.

Standard: 3 (healing will not win you too many games here)
TE: 4.3 (he truly shines here)
