The Saiyan Style Mastery from the World Games Saga is odd. This mastery would have been great back when Trunks HT Saiyan Dragonball decks (dubbed "Styles" by Brian Valdez) were rampant. The dragon ball decks could have used the defensive power of this mastery. But nowadays you don't see the Saiyan dragon ball decks as much. The only real deck I could see this mastery being used in is a Saiyan energy deck. However, the Cell Saga mastery is also good for Saiyan Energy Beatdown.

If you're using a Dragonball deck or maybe even Saiyan energy, use this mastery. But if you're going for a physical beatdown, stick with the more powerful Trunks Saga mastery.

Standard - 3/5

Tuff Enuff - 2/5

Da Krillin Monday- Saiyan Style Mastery (TS)

This is the mastery that you will usually find in a Saiyan Deck... You get more cards in your hand, AND if that card is a Saiyan Style Card (the extra you draw) you can knock your opponent down 4.. now if you have a good Saiyan deck, they'll probably be at 0 before Powering Up, now if you draw a Saiyan Card, they will most likely be at zero, just the right spot to deliver those punishing physicals! You dont really find Saiyan in Standard Ever hear of Saiyan anger? Of course not.... I think theres like.. 4 Saiyan cards that riase anger.. Saiyan Dball? Nah....

Tuff Enuff:4.0

Trunks
Saiyan Style Mastery - WGS

Draw a card when entering combat and show it to your opponent if its saiyan prevent 4/4 power stages/life cards from the first attack. If its not saiyan just prevent 4 power stages from the first attack. Not to bad but theres a better mastery out there coughs trunks saga coughs. Anyway, Its an okay mastery if you make a deck with all those saiyan cards that were like meant to prevent this and that when you block but otherwise this mastery is blah. Saiyan is all about beatdown not preventing from getting beatdown -.- Dunno who created this type of saiyan to prevent damage but =/ . Oh yeah one thing i forgot to mention this mastery just sucks when you get a saiyan card and big surprise they hit you with krillin's heatseeking blast :P

Chibi Saiyan Style Mastery

When they said Saiyan was going defensive, I didn't
know what to expect. And I must say, I was very much disappointed. The main thing that's wrong with this Mastery, is that it's the first attack, not first successful attack. Which means that if your opponent starts with an "if successful" attack, you're in quite a bind. Most of the time, you'll end up wasting the prevention to block the attack. This can be used in a Saiyan energy deck, but those decks aren't all that competitive.

In Standard, Saiyan energy just doesn't have enough
good cards yet.
2.1/5

In Tuff Enuff, if you're gonna play Saiyan (don't play
Saiyan) go physical, and use the Trunks Saga Mastery.
1.5/5
Bobby #148 Saiyan Style Master (WG)

This Card Reads, When Entering Combat Draw A Card, If This Card Is a Saiyan Style Card You Can Prevent 4 Life Cards And 4 Power Stages this Combat. This Is A Great Master For Saiyan Beat Down Decks. You Get to Draw A Card And Prevent Damage. I Would Use This Mastery
Over Any Other Saiyan Style Mastery.
