 12/11/03 – Thursday
Broly the Electrified Level 2 – Kid Buu Saga Insert Promo - #B2 Personality

Power: When entering Combat, search your Life Deck for a Saiyan Style card and place it into your hand.

What the broke. Broly has two decent level 2s, and now he gets this.

Broly is right now one of the most played characters in the game, and you have this new level 2 to thank. The ability to search out any Saiyan card rivals Cell and Gohan Level 2, mainly because you can get Truce Card out early game, then easily eat your opponent apart with a giant 12 card hand or something.

Broly has a level 1 from MBS that helps him get here super fast. Thanks to the Broly subset and some new Saiyan cards in Kid Buu, Broly can adapt to nearly any situation with his power. Blue MBS deal with Charges and Power Beams constantly. Ally deals with Ki Ball and Surprise. Drill/Non-combat decks deal with Cliff Slam and Strength Blast. Energy Decks deal with Planet Explosion. And so forth. Not to mention the beatdown he can do.

He can also search out blocks and even anger to still beat the level 1-3 decks out there. Really, there’s not much more you can ask for in a level 2. The ability to get up here fast and abuse the chosen card advantage you want is just plain good. Try him out. With a good selection of cards in your deck, Broly can tech or just lay out more beatdown.

His level 3 and 4 are also sweet, which gives this a major bonus. You can do a whole lot of things with this level 2 and not really go wrong. It only works in Saiyan decks, but that’s really all you need.

Standard: 4.7 out of 5.0 (searching = good) Tuff Enuff: 4.8 out of 5.0 (ditto)
Sealed: 1.4 out of 5.0 (level 2 ally, yah right) ~matthewlow

 Friday - Broly, Electrified

Power: When entering Combat, search your Life Deck for a Saiyan Style card and place it into your hand.

Greaaat. As if Saiyan Style decks didn't ALREADY get big enough hands. Now they can increase there hand size even MORE and it won't even shrink they're life deck to do this 0_0..of course, the power will be pretty useless in the early game, but later...you'll get to pick ANY saiyan style card from your discard, and throw it in your hand...shoot, grab something like Saiyan Triple Blast which lets you draw ANOTHER card, etc.,..good stuff..

 Brolly, The Electrified Level 2

Standard 4.95 - Crazy Good
TE 3.0 - Too Many Clashes

The new level 2 Brolly is, quite seriously, crazy crazy good. While the level 2 Cell Saga Gohan and Cell are strictly better, the lack level 1's that raise anger quickly and excellent level 3 and 4's is what raises Brolly to the top. Off the top of my head, Brolly can search for:

Drill Hate
Ally Hate
Non-Combat Hate
Mastery Hate
Personality Power Hate
Combat Ending
Generic Large Attack
Generic Blocks or Energy Block Everything Raise anger 2 Cards

In TE its still good, but with so many Raise anger 6 cards
floating around, you wont be at level 2 for very long, if
even a single ?When Entering Combat? step.

Overall, a versatile and powerful personality with an
excellent power that can dominate with the lack of
incredibly broken personalities. He is able to counter
nearly any deck-type and kill in 1-3 combats.

Broly, the Electrified Level 2 #B2 from Kid Buu Saga

Power: When entering Combat, search your Life Deck for a Saiyan Style card and place it into your hand.

Man, talk about Awesome level 2's this week! If only Gohan and Cell's Level 2 were included! Anyway, this is righ behind Gohan and Cell's level 2 as my favorite, and with Broly's huge anger abilities on level 1, it won't take long to get here. This level goes perfectly with any Saiyan Broly deck, it isn't like score needed to give him any better levels with him already doing so well in the environment, but oh well. You can search for any saiyan styled card, saiyan truce card, saiyan destiny, or just a huge physical to finish your opponent off with. Running short on blocks, no problem, just grab a saiyan style block (that new card saiyan brace is so broke it isn't even funny, especailly with fond memories now, talk about huge hands when you can get saiyan truce card back!) Anyway, one of the best all-around level 2's in the game.

Ratings:

Standard - 4.5 (Awesome Power)

Tuff Enuff - 4.5 (Look above)

Sealed Deck - 1.5 (Level 2 ally?)
