Monday: Let The Games Begin

Hmm...a Worlds card. I picked this up and traded it instantly...just didn't work in my deck.

This is a usually helpful card for a quick level up...Not much else to say.

Standard/TE/Sealed: 3.5/5
Mewfive Let The Games Begin
Hmmm... An Aura Clash that you can use only at Lv.1, affects only you, and regenerates the bottom 5 of your discard. Not half bad. Many decks run an MP with a Lv.2 that they may want to use in certain situations, but until now, the most reliable ways to reach a Lv.2 without packing a deck with excessive anger were Aura Clash and Are You Tuff Enuff (In TE). I know that I do not like sending my opponent up to Lv.2 unless I know that their power at Lv.2 is not going to affect me too much or that they're running a deck that relies on a Lv.1 power. I can also see this card being used in a regeneration deck with Supreme Kai's Ki Push. You use this card to get 5 cards back, then Ki Push to get back to Lv.1. Heck, you could even stay at Lv.2 if you wanted to.

Rating:
Standard - 3.5/5. A great way to reach Lv.2 without helping your opponent out.
TE - 3.5/5.

AJC468 Let the Games Begin!

This is the promo given out to everyone that entered worlds.  It should see play in decks that have a powerful level two personality such as Majin Dabura.  Of course this card will never see play in anger decks since you must be at lvl one to use it.  This restricts it's ability but you do get to heal the bottum 5 cards of your discard pile.  With that said and done this card is not all that great because of it's limited uses.  It does go well in blue majin dabura physical decks and a stuff like that, but that's about it.  If you could have used this at any level or have still been allowed to win by MPPV this card would have been much better, sigh.

Standard: 1.5 (you gain lvls in standard to win by MPPV, which you can't do after using this card)
TE: 3 (it is a worlds promo, so I'll give it an average rating, cool for fun decks)

Let the Games Begin! – Worlds Entrance Promo
Promo – SZ7
Non-Combat

Use when entering Combat and your Main Personality is at level 1. You cannot win my the Most Powerful Personality Victory for the remainder of the game. Advance to your level 2. Shuffle the bottom 5 cards of your discard pile into your Life Deck.

I just had to do COTDs on the World Championship cards, even though they are a bit late. I just felt like it. They will be short though.

This card is… bleh. Interesting, but I wouldn’t run it. It allows you to jump a level, but you have to be at level 1. If you want to jump levels, what are the chances you are at level 1? This is also a non-combat; I’d rather run Aura Clash or even Transformation or Apocalyptic Battle or Intensity Drill. There are much better options out there. This card just becomes useless after you level once. The shuffle 5 is nice, but I’d much rather not shuffle 5 and have a card that is useful in nearly all circumstances. That’s just me.

Standard: 1.4 out of 5.0 (just better options)
Tuff Enuff: 1.2 out of 5.0 (even more better options)
Sealed: N/A
