DBZ CCG Card of the Day

Gohan's Kick

Cell Games

Standard Rating: 3.10 (based on 3 reviews)
Tuff Enuff: 3.0 (based on 3 reviews)

Ratings are based on a 1 to 5 scale
1 being the worst.  3 ... average.  5 is the highest rating.

Organous At first glance, this card has great power. Use it as a one-turn Breakthrough Drill and override Vegeta's Physical Stance and similar. However, as it is now, it only stops things which stop all attacks of either kind, so only things like Cell's Defense and Red Back Kick would be prevented. Not even Time is a Warrior's Tool would be prevented, since this card only mentions each type individually, and this stops both. Many options are still left for your opponent after this card is used. I've heard it will be changed, but as of now, it's not all that great. It gets less useful in Tuff Enuff, mostly for the fact that there's less stasis there.

Final Review: 2.8, 2.6

Gohan's Kick...ouch! If you are tired of getting locked down and having combats ended on you, this card will make your day. Start off with this card and if your deck is heavy on physicals or energies, you won't have to worry at all about getting omni-blocked. It is also a +3 physical and named so it can fit in any deck, with Gohan having the option for 4. With the right deck, this card can prove most useful...not only in Standard, but in Tuff Enuff too.

Tuff Enuff: 3.0

Gohan's Kick - Cell Games

Ouch. This card can really knock out all your defenses and you'll never see it coming. You draw only a Nappa's physical resistance and they use gohan's kick as their first attack x_x. Its just a physical attack but its the effect that matters. This card hurts dragonball decks the most. Cant end combat after this card is played and db decks keep out of combat all the time. DB decks beware!
