Now we get to the monster that ended up defeating Five-Headed Dragon in that arc, and a card we only saw twice in the anime from what I remember: Dragon Master Knight.

Dragon Master Knight is a Level 12 LIGHT Dragon Fusion with 5000 ATK and DEF as well. Again, the pinnacle of base stats, and another good Type and Attribute combo, only the Attribute is different because this was meant to beat Five-Headed Dragon. Fusion Materials are Black Luster Soldier and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, which is rough. You don’t have to summon the Black Luster Soldier at least, so no need to worry about the Ritual Spell and stuff, but sadly it can’t be any of the better retrains. Also assuming you don’t have the Fusion Substitute monsters, having to have a 2nd Polymerization or something to summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to begin with is costly since you got to get to 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons. This thing must be Fusion Summoned, so again no cheating. Also the only effect on this lets it gain 500 ATK for each Dragon you control, besides itself, which with it already having 5000 ATK, you don’t really need more ATK. The card is cool, I’ll always give it that, but it’s near useless, even if you’re building a Deck around it. Considering all the random support we get, though, I could see cards coming along to support this, or even it getting a retrain itself to be much better.

Art: 5/5 Black Luster Soldier riding Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon? Yes please. Would love if this got an alternate art.

Yugi-you on the other hand,  I will offer some gratitude.  We made a good team back there, you and I, but don’t think this means we’ll be partnering in true reality.-Seto Kaiba

^That might not be word for word, I didn’t look it up, but I’m still using it

Honestly, realistically, there’s very little to say about this card that I didn’t say about Five Headed Dragon.  Same attack and defense at 5000, Fusion requires BEUD + BLS (the ritual one) so you’re obviously using about anything else to bring this out, assuming you would at all.  This guy is Light, and with its Effect, does take down FHD.  That’s something, I suppose.  Though, keep in mind, his Effect doesn’t include himself, so maybe he still attacks FHD and they both get destroyed?  Sorry, folks, not much else to say.  I guess this card is slightly more difficult to Summon, and the Effect here is also not great…hard to say here or there is worse.

Rating:  2/5  (Extra .25 for a cooler pic)

Art:  5/5  So much awesome
