Yu Yu Hakusho Movie Summaries

Bonds of Fire
Movie 2:

     The dam breaks, water rushes in.  As the rain continues to fall, all of Spirit World is submerged with water.  Koenma gives Botan an item to give to Yusuke before the water washes him away.  As she flies through the storm, Botan is struck by lightning and sinks to the bottom, into the Living World and into the arms of Yusuke.  Keiko takes her to Genkai's temple.  On the way, Yusuke and Kuwabara encounter another spirit guide named Hinageshi. Hinageshi tells everyone of an old world called the Nether World.  Several thousand years ago, the Spirit World and Nether World fought over the control of the Living World.  King Yama destroyed the Nether World.  Now, they have to open all five of the elemental sites on Earth to save the Spirit World.  But, they are all destroyed by King Yakuma, ruler of the Nether World.  He uses them to resurrect the Nether World.  Next, we find out that the item Botan has is the Power Sphere, the source of power for the Nether World.  Yakuma steals Boton and now Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, Hinageshi, and Hiei set out to get her back.  On the way, Kurama first faces one of Yakuma's powerful servants.  After Kurama's victory, Hiei faces a fighter with a stronger third eye than his own.  Hiei uses all of his spirit energy to destroy his foe.  Next, they go after Yakuma.  Inside the Nether World, Yakuma takes the Power Sphere out of Botan's body.  Yusuke then starts the heated battle with Yakuma.  Yusuke uses his Spirit Gun, but it has no effect on Yakuma.  As Yusuke recovers, Kuwabara takes over.  Yakuma prepares to use the Living World as the Nether World, but Hinageshi tries to take the Power Sphere, but to no avail.  Her, Kurama, and Hiei all get knocked down.  Yusuke grabs the Power Sphere and turns it into Spirit energy.  Yusuke combines his energy with Kuwabara, Kurama, and Hiei to severely damage Yakuma, stopping the Nether World power.  Yakuma has one last fight with Yusuke.  Yusuke shoots his Spirit Gun through the Power Sphere, destroying it, and in to Yakuma.  He is finally destroyed. Everything in the Living World is back to normal.  But, it doesn't say if Spirit World is normal or not.  Everyone gathers together to celebrate.  The End
