Well, it
seems that BlankZero has officially joined Dan
on the sidelines for Card of the Day reviews.
I'll keep going for a few more weeks, since I am
a Shaman King fan. It's just too much fun being
a CotD reviewer in order to give up the slot!
Today we have a Lililala card, "Ancestral
Apparitions" which is suppose to be read as;
Ancestral Apparitions
Strike
Rare
Trait: Guardian
Green: 2
Yellow: 1
Intercept: 6
Force: 4
Red >>> When you counterattack, charge any zone.
Use only once.
"Ancestral Apparitions" has a medium card cost
of 2 greens and 1 yellow, an average for a
strike. The intercept is 6, which is one over
the golden 5 which is good. The force is only 4,
but that's not too bad, very playable. Also,
remember this is a guardian strike card.
The effect was cleaned up in the errata, so you
don't charge more than one zone. A cost of a red
is very heavy, which weighs this card down.
Counterattacking shouldn't be a problem if you
have the furyoku resources. Being able to choose
which one of your zones you want to be charged
is a nice benefit. You will probably be picking
your red zone since it's the most dangerous zone
to charge. Just as a strike without the effect,
the card is playable. If your deck is very
strong on signature moves the red cost might be
worth it. Tournament and sealed decks won't need
this card as much as I would think you would see
in Casual.
