Draco Starcloud Zanzibar

It's 2-mast Fire and Steel boats this week on Pojo!

If you've been to the WizKids' Fire-and-Steel card gallery, you may have noticed a small problem with it: they've got the Spanish and Pirate ships intermingled by accident! Some of the Pirates are under Spain and vice-versa! If you look at one of these boats, just take a look at the flag to tell which nation it belongs to. With the interesting tidbit out of the way, it's time for the review.

The Zanzibar is a little schnooner that wants to be a big, bad boarder. Unfortunately, the only thing the Zanzibar has in its favor is a +1 to boarding rolls. She only has three cargo spaces, so any crew you give her will take away precious room for gold. Her base move is a mere L, which would be fine for a fighter, but not a ship that wants to steal gold. Her cannons are a decent 3S, but if you want to take advantage of them, you need a captain, which would take away from your gold capacity.

This ship wants to be a boarder, but it's a backup fighter that can board when the opportunity arises at best. For 10 points though you could find something more specialized.

I give the Zanzibar a 1.5/5.
