take as much treasure from the other ship as she
wants, up to her available cargo space.
None of my gaming adversaries uses Le Descharges in
their fleets. I am thankful for this.
All those 2-rank cannons spell "fighting ship."
She'd need a Captain, of course, and a Helmsman
would help her choose her battles. She's big enough
to justify a named crew, and if you have the points,
I'd recommend Robert Surcouf in place of the
Captain; he'd let you board without getting pinned.
Either way, you'd still have three cargo spaces to
fill with other people's gold, and the ability to
blow the enemy to kingdom come once you're done
looting her. You'd also be in good shape against
most fighting ships. 5 cargo might tempt you to use
her as a gold ship, but don't do it - she's too
expensive and too slow.
13 points is a bit much for a three-masted ship, but
not grossly out of order. You certainly get what you
pay for, with excellent fighting ability and a
mega-boarding action. Nice ship.
