Series: Dragon Ball
Version: Japanese subbed
Dragon Ball Episode 101
"The End of the Tournament! And...?"
-Tenshinhan has fired his Kikoho at Goku, and there is a huge explosion. When
the smoke clears, the ring is gone, to everyone's shock. KameSennin comments
on the amazing power of that blast, and adds that it is much greater than the
KameHameHa. They all notice that Goku is gone. Goku's friends are concerned,
thinking he has been killed. KameSennin tells Kuririn not to worry, as he can
still sense Goku. Everyone looks around, and they eventually find Goku high
in the sky. Tenshinhan flies up to Goku, impressed that he leaped so high in
an instant. Goku says that attack might have really killed him if he didn't
dodge it. Tenshinhan says they can now only fall toward the ring, and whoever
lands first will lose. He adds that he has the ability to float, so Goku will
obviously lose. KameSennin says there is nothing they can do. Chaozu is happy
for Tenshinhan. Goku asks if Tenshinhan can take his final attack, which he
is putting all of his power into.

Goku starts charging up KameHameHa, and Tenshinhan says it won't effect him at all. KameSennin says no matter how big this KameHameHa is, it won't work. Goku suddenly turns around, and fires the KameHameHa, propelling himself into Tenshinhan. Goku's friends cheer for him. Goku and Tenshinhan are now both falling, and it is unknown who will land first. The announcer throws down a capsule, which forms a plane. The announcer flies off in the plane, to get a better look at the battle. It

seems Goku is going to be the first one to fall. He charges up and fires a
small KameHameHa, getting himself slightly higher. Goku and Tenshinhan fall
through a city. Just as it seems Tenshinhan will land first, a truck drives
in, and hits Goku to the ground. Tenshinhan lands last, and wins the match.
The announcer says that Tenshinhan is the new champion of the Tenkaichi
Budokai. Goku's friends are disappointed, while the rest of the crowd cheers.
The announcer comments on that amazing match. Kuririn rushes off to check on
Goku. Yamcha wants to go too, so Lunch (evil form) fires her gun to clear a
path through the people, so they can get through. The whole crowd wants to
go, and they all rush off to see the 2 fighters. Kuririn has reached Goku
first, and they are happy to see each other. The whole audience arrives, and
they crowd around Goku and Tenshinhan, congratulating them on a great match.
They start cheering for Tenshinhan, who can't believe it. KameSennin thinks
to himself that Tenshinhan's world of evil and hatred is finally over. Some
crowd members carry Goku and Tenshinhan over to see each other. Everyone
claps, and they smile.
-Later, at sunset, the announcer says they will all meet again in 3 years. As
Goku drinks some water, KameSennin says that was a great tournament. Kuririn
says that Goku came so close to winning. Goku doesn't mind, saying a loss is
just a loss. Goku's gi is tattered, so Kuririn gives Goku his own gi.
Tenshinhan and Chaozu step in. Tenshinhan says he has come to offer Goku half
of the prize money, because he only won from luck. Goku refuses, not even
knowing how to use money. KameSennin tells Tenshinhan that luck is part of
skill, and Goku learned a lot from fighting him. Bulma and the others step
in, asking what is taking so long. Yamcha congratulates Tenshinhan on his
win. Tenshinhan apologizes for the terrible thing he did, and Yamcha says it
is okay, because he at least didn't kill him. Yamcha hopes they can fight
again, and Tenshinhan agrees. KameSennin offers to let Tenshinhan and Chaozu
live at Kame House, and Lunch agrees, admitting that she has fallen in love
with Tenshinhan. Tenshinhan respectfully refuses, as even thought he betrayed
his master, he can not follow the ways of someone else. Lunch is
disappointed, and asks if they can write to each other instead. KameSennin
offers to take them all out to dinner, and Tenshinhan offers to pay for it.
They are happy, and they all leave. When they arrive at the restaraunt, Goku
realizes that he left his Dragon Ball and Nyoibo back at the tournament.
Kuririn offers to go get it, and Goku thanks him. Kuririn rushes off, and
Goku calls out to him. Kuririn turns around, and Goku says he forgot what he
was about to say. They all laugh, and Kuririn runs off. Goku seems to have a
bad feeling, and he steps into the restaraunt. Soon, the food is all ready,
and Bulma asks what is taking Kuririn so long. They are all starving, so
KameSennin agrees to let them eat. All of them eat, except for Goku, who
still wants to wait for Kuririn. Goku seems to still have a bad feeling, and
Tenshinhan asks what is wrong. Goku imagines Kuririn smiling at him, and in
the vision, he can hear Kuririn yelling out to him in pain. Goku suddenly
rushes out of the restaraunt, and back to the tournament. He is shocked to
find Kuririn and the announcer on the ground. Goku checks on Kuririn, and
asks what happened, but gets no answer. The announcer weakly says that a
monster came, and took a strange ball and the tournament registry. Goku sadly
realizes that Kuririn is dead.
Next time: Goku goes off to find Kuririn's killer! What is the cause of this
mess?!? This was only supposed to be a fun day of the Tenkaichi Budokai!
