Banned & Restricted Card List - Effective May 15th
2001
The
following cards are banned
in all official DBZ Tournaments:
- Dream
Machine Battle – Saiyan - Rare
Card Text: This Battle Never Happened. Start all
over with new cards and reset all damage to
beginning levels. Limit 1 per deck.
- This
Too Shall Pass - Frieza - Rare
Card Text: Stop
the effect of any Non-Dragon Ball/Non-Personality
card in play and remove it from the game. Use when
needed.
- Dragon's
Glare - Frieza – Promo
Card Text: All players' anger is set to 3.
- The
Talking Ends Here - Frieza - Common
Card Text: This card stops an opponent from winning
until the end of your next turn.
Use when needed. Remove from the game after
use.

The
following cards are restricted
to one copy per deck, in all official DBZ
Tournaments:
- Blazing
Anger - Saiyan –
Uncommon
Card Text: Increase your anger level by 2. Take the
top 2 cards from your discard pile and place them at
the bottom of your life deck.
- Enraged -
Saiyan – Rare
Card Text: Increase your anger level by 2. Take any
2 cards from your discard pile and place them at the
bottom of your Life Deck.
Remove from the game after use.
- Gohan’s
Anger - Saiyan
– Promo
Card Text: Raise your anger by 2 and reduce every
villain's anger by 1. Remove from the game after
use.
- Vegeta’s
Smirk - Saiyan – Promo
Card Text: Select
any Dragon Ball in your deck and put it into play.
- Goku’s
Lucky Break - Saiyan – Rare
Card Text: Draw an unused Dragon Ball from your Life
Deck and place it in play. Shuffle your Life Deck
afterwards.
- Vegeta’s
Plan - Saiyan - Rare
Card Text: Get a Dragon Ball card from the Life Deck
and put it into play. Remove from the game after
use.
- Vegeta’s
Physical Stance - Saiyan – Common
Card Text: Stop a physical attack and all physical
attacks performed against you for the remainder of
combat.
- Nappa's
Physical Resistance -Saiyan Uncommon
Card Text: Stop a physical attack and all physical
attacks performed against you for the remainder of
combat.
- Nappa's
Energy Aura - Saiyan – Uncommon
Card Text: Stop an energy attack and all energy
attacks performed against you for the remainder of
combat.
- Vegeta's
Quickness Drill – Saiyan – Rare
Card Text: When entering combat, draw the bottom
card of your discard pile into your hand.
