Character Bios:
Edward Elric
The hero of the story with a rather dark past. A genius in the
art of alchemy and one of the few people who can use alchemy
without a transmutation circle. He has issues with people that
bring up his height, and has a very short temper when it comes
to that issue.
He once tried to resurrect his mother with the help of his younger
brother, Alphonse Elric. The experiment failed, and it left him
without his right arm and left leg, and also erased Alphonse's
body from the physical plane. Before he lost consciousness, he
used alchemy one last time to save Alphonse's soul by attaching
it to a nearby suit of armor. Alphonse, realizing what happened,
took Edward to the home of a local friend, whom fitted Edward
with a set of automail so he can maneuver.
As a result of this experiment, Edward gains a new goal. That
being to get Alphonse back into his old body, so both he and
Alphonse set off into the world to try and accomplish that goal.
He would do anything to achieve this goal, including joining
the military as a State Alchemist
