1.20.05 Note: RFG = Removed from game.
	Dale writes:

Hello my name is Dale ( I know my name is goofy) but i
am a serious duelist. I have won a couple of tornaments. I have a deck I
would like for you to check out if you could. Monsters (22) 3 Gren Maju De Ezia ( Sp?) 3 D.D. Assaliant 3 D.D. WarriorLady 1 Sangan 1 Witch of the Black Forest 1 Cyberjar 2 Bazoo the Souleater 1 Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer 1 Black Luster Soldier Envoy of the Beginning 2 Chaos Sorceror 2 Night Assaliant Magic (9) 1 Dark Hole 2 Inferno Tempest 3 Soul Absorbtion 2 Dark Core 1 Megamorph Traps (9) 3 Return from the Different Dimension 1 Collected Power 1 Mirror Force 2 Magic Jammer 1 Seven Tools of the bandit 1 Mask of Restrict Well, the first problem I see is that you are running 3 Chaos monsters (2 Chaos Sorcerer and 1 Black Luster Soldier) with only 3 Lights (3 DDWL), and those will almost always be RFG anyways.
	So...
	-1 BLS
	-2 Chaos Sorcerer
The next problem is that this deck seems to be
half-traditional, half-advanced. I'm going to assume you're playing this in
Traditional and tell you to add:
	1 Raigeki
	1 Pot of Greed
	1 Painful Choice
	1 Graceful Charity
	1 Harpie's Feather Duster
	1 Heavy Storm
	1 Imperial Order
	1 Tribe Infecting Virus
With the exclusion of Tribe-Infecting Virus,
these cards are all so powerful that any deck can use them well. You use
Tribe because it's a very good card for getting cards into the graveyard for
	you to RFG.
To make room for those, let's take out some
	sub-par cards:
	-2 Inferno Tempest
When are you ever going to get hit for 3000 or
more? The card is WAAAAAAAY too situational.
	-1 Collected Power
You're only running 1 equip, and no one else (at
least for the most parts) runs equips period. So this card is basically
	useless.
	-1 Mask of Restrict
Most people only run 1 or 2 tribute monsters.
And it isn't worth the spot in your deck just for a shot at stopping them
	from being played.
Now, let's do a bit more fixing:
	-2 Night Assailant
Why am I suggesting this? It doesn't really
contribute to your theme very much, and it only really works with Dark Core,
which isn't worth it that much, anyways.
	-1 Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer
	-2 Dark Core
You should care about removing your own cards
more than removing your opponent's cards.
	+2 Chaosrider Gustaph
It's unique in that it can remove spell cards,
meaning you can boost your gren maju even higher. And it's a warrior (I'll
get to that in a second).
	+2 Reinforcement of the Army
You're running 8 warriors. No reason not to use
	it.
	-1 Megamorph
Only really good if you've used RFDD, and if you
use RFDD, it's not like you need the extra attack power anyways...
	+1 Torrential Tribute
Another of those cards that is too good not to
	use.
-1 Seven Tools of the Bandit
You won't be able to afford it with RfDD (Return
	from a Different Dimension).
	-2 Magic Jammer
You'll see why in a second.
	+3 Solemn Judgment
Works great with RfDD (both halve your LP and
have very nice effects...plus you can stop any nasty Mirror Forces...).
	+1 Card Destruction
Provides more speed to the deck and puts more
cards in the graveyard to remove.
	-3 Soul Absorption
Not really worth it when you're just going to
get rid of the gain right away off of Solemn Judgment and RfDD.
	+1 Chaos End
It's a pretty nice effect, and this deck will
	usually have the necesarry requirements.
	+1 Dark Magician of Chaos
Just great synergy overall with the RFG element.
It removes itself from the game and gets back spell cards. What's not to
	like?
	+1 Monster Reborn
You can get back something that didn't end up
getting RFG (i.e. get back your Gren Maju, etc.).
	+1 United We Stand
Make your monster(s) HUGE after you use RFDD.
So, your final list is looking like:
Monsters (18) 1 Dark Magician of Chaos 3 Gren Maju De Ezia 3 D.D. Assaliant 3 D.D. WarriorLady 1 Sangan 1 Witch of the Black Forest 1 Cyberjar 1 Tribe-Infecting Virus 2 Bazoo the Souleater 2 Chaosrider Gustaph
Magic (13) 1 Dark Hole 1 Raigeki 1 HFD 1 Heavy Storm 1 Pot of Greed 1 Graceful Charity 1 Painful Choice 1 Card Destruction 2 Reinforcements of the Army 1 Monster Reborn 1 Chaos End
1 United We Stand Traps (9) 3 Return from the Different Dimension 1 Torrential Tribute 1 Imperial Order 1 Mirror Force 3 Solemn Judgment
	Well, that's all for today.
Oh, and no one has figured out what deck
wouldn't want Pot of Greed yet.
Many have submitted the (incorrect) solution of
a deck running 3x Heart of the Underdog, 32 normal monsters, and the 5
pieces of Exodia. I'm sorry to say that this DOESN'T work. Heart of the
Underdog can only trigger once per draw phase. 1.25.05 Note: CORRECTION: Heart of the Underdog CAN trigger multiple times per draw phase. This is a new ruling that I wasn't aware of, so I apologize to all of the people that submitted this solution. However, as everyone now knows that this is a solution, I will no longer accept it, but I WILL count the people who already submitted it as winners to this contest. Keep the solutions coming, there's still room for a few more winners!
There ARE some decks that wouldn't want to use
Pot of Greed though (in both traditional and advanced formats). And they ALL
are based on a single general combo involving a certain monster card.
If you can figure it out, I'll fix your deck and
put the fix up in my deck garage.
E-mail me your solution with the subject "POT OF
GREED CONTEST". If you are correct, I'll e-mail you back and ask you to
submit your deck to get fixed. I'm limiting this to the first three correct
answers. I'll post all of the answers that I could think of in my next deck
review (which will be comprised of deck fixes for the three winners). After
that, I'll go back to selecting decks normally.
On that note, you aren't very likely to get your
deck fixed if it is a recently reviewed theme. So just keep that in mind. LATE CORRECTION TO THIS ARTICLE: Heart of the Underdog CAN trigger multiple times per draw phase. This is a new ruling that I wasn't aware of, so I apologize to all of the people that submitted this solution. However, as everyone now knows that this is a solution, I will no longer accept it, but I WILL count the people who already submitted it as winners to this contest. Sorry for the mixup.
	peace out,
