Rj's Deck Garage

Hi! My name is Rj, you may recognize my name from the Pojo Forums, and I do off and on trading there, and also help fix decks! I got my own deck garage here on Pojo, and I must say I am very happy! I opened up my inbox to find about 70 emails on the first day! Right then I knew this would be a challenge, so lets get down to the good stuff and fix a deck!

Today's deck was sent in by George M. Lets see what George had to say…

"hey dude I have regionals on Saturday and Sunday.....I have already got my invitational by placing second in the previous Montreal regionals, with a hybrid burn deck...now I would like to go again and take my 11 year old apprentice with another original deck....I'm 22 and I really enjoy helping him out....he learns very fast......well its a variation dragon deck which we decided to name:

"Call of the dragon lord's requiem"

well this is it the deal is to get king dragun as fast as possible by meta'ing fusilier.....in any other case beat down and stall with TER....Autonomous action unit always goes in the second round as some sort of tech..I have noticed that people do not expect this and feel free to dump monsters in their grave.....1500 is pretty much steep but for a jinzo or a dmoc ill take it any day....right?

Ok I see you want to get out "King Dragun" for his great effects, but I see you have seemed to splashed Horus monsters in there as well, I say we focus on "King Dragun" only, so, out goes the hours!

I'm going to add in some more monsters that don't necessarily help the dragon theme, but they are needed…You'll see…

+Fusilier the Dual Mode Beast
+Jinzo
+Exiled Force

Ok, so now we have some more spell recursion in Magician of Faith, some trap negation (This IS and offensive deck!) in Jinzo, and I maxed on Fusiliers, they are SO versatile with the new fix! Exiled force is in there for its amazing removal.

Moving on, now in the magic's, I see MANY problems that could flaw the decks resiliency, ill fix that…

-Lightning Vortex (Put it in the side)
-Monster Reincarnation

+Smashing Ground
+Smashing Ground

Now we have some better removal, Lightning vortex, IMO, is way to over-rated, its not that good, I barely even side deck mine…Monster reincarnation is just bleh, lol.
