Zero Gardna ...

The newest addition to the Gardna family of monsters, and my favorite card of the week. Zero G has a fairly simple effect that can come off in a really big way ... and since it has no ATK or DEF to speak of, it had better!
Tribute it during either players turn to protect u from any and all battle damage for the turn, and none of your monsters can be destroyed by battle. Completely lovely. I love cards like this, and say ... Cyber Valley, that once u get them to the field, they are that extra bit of protection that will most likely guarantee u at least ONE more turn ... no matter how far u are down. Cyber Valley nets u another card, but Zero G is harder to block. Cyber Valley - if it gets popped before it gets attacked - u get nothing. Zero G can be tributed at any time to get its effect. And it protects all your monsters too if u have anything else out. Pretty sweet. On your own turn as well. If u have something with the same ATK as ur opponent - tribute Zero G, and their monster dies while yours does not.

With 0 ATK & DEF, it would have been awesome if Zero Gardna was a level 1 .... but that would have made it TOO good a card. Get one and hold on to it.

Today we look at a rather good rare, which is something we rarely see outside of Fortune Ladies and Blackwings. Zero Gardna is a searchable Warrior-Type monster with Reinforcement of the Army and Giant Rat, and you can tribute it to prevent monsters you control from being destroyed in battle and you take no battle damage during the turn you tribute Zero Gardna for his effect. The good thing about this is it can be activated during either players turn. If a player attacks your Giant Rat, you can search Zero Gardna then tribute it off to prevent any more damage or destruction. There really isn't much to say but still, this cards got one amazing effect for a rare. Between Cyber Valley and this, at least when it comes to negating an attack and ending a battle phase, its hard to say whos better really. I guess it depends on the deck but they both have some serious use and honestly I am personally thinking of siding Zero Gardnas myself.

Zero Gardna

Here we have, Zero Gardna, Today’s card of the Day.

You can Tribute this card to activate its effect. If you do, monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle, and you take no Battle Damage, during this turn. This effect can be activated during either player's turn.

Desperate times my friend, desperate times. This card seems like its good, but the question you should be asking yourself is “Why?” Watch your opponent drop JD or Dad and pop all your stuff. It basically the same thing as Threatening roar in monster form, except wait, glads can still tag out, AWESOME! Do you really want to waste your normal summon on it? Some tough questions to ponder. He is insanely searchable as he is 0 attack and even a warrior to boot. I’m not gonna say he’s bad, I just think there are better cards to put in your deck then this thing.

Traditional 1/5, Advanced casual 4/5, Advanced competitive 1/5
