Friday

Closing the week, I'll begin by asking why is this an Ultra Rare?

Anyway, Multiple Piece Golem is a Fusion, appropriately enough of Big Piece Golem and Medium Piece Golem.  Also, for what shocks Yugioh players everywhere, this is a Rock monster.

Multiple Piece Golem is Level 7 (fine) with 2600 attack (meh) and 1300 defense (crap).  Anyway, for an effect, at the end of a Battle Phase that this card attacks OR is atatcked, you can return this card to the Fusion Deck...err...what is now coined as the "Extra Deck."

Then you can Special Summon all the Fusion Material Monsters that you used to summon this card IF they all exist in your Graveyard.  So, if you are fusing this in a way that involves removing your monsters from play, that effect is useless.

Traditional:  1.25/5

Advanced:   2.25/5  Could use the pieces to tribute...maybe?

Art:  3/5  Nothing special.

General Zorpa Multiple Piece Golem

I am just going to say JANK. It'seffect is not even that great, you get to Special Summon the Fusion Materials when he is attacked or attacks. Just like Gladiator's he needs to be on teh field in order for his effect to go off, which is bad. 2600 ATK is even lackluster for a Fusion monster these days that doesn't do a Contact Fusion.

This is a short one, as the golem monsters are just not any good. Their Fusion is not good and neither are any of the pieces, big, medium or small.

Yo, in case you didn't know, yami pwii was trying to take over my body by destroying my rep. But he actually wrote good reviews, so he dissapeared into the shadow realm in a poof of logic. Multi piece golem doesn't really do anything. At all. It'd be fun to play though.

1/5 all.

Todayʼs card up for review is MultiplePiece Golem. I will be completely honest with you, I was furious when I bought my first pack of Duelist Genesis and pulled this card. I honestly do not like any of the Golem cards. Not saying they are horrible, but seems you have to use a lot of resources to get the combos going. I rarely will use a deck that will cost me resources so I will pass on this

Ive heard a little bit about the Golem rock deck, but I have yet to see what it can do. Id imagine that this card would be a useful addition to the deck because if it gets its effect off that allows you to summon the two golems used for the fusion back to the field, you would be able to get Small Piece Golem due to Medium Piece Golem's effect. Dont take my word on that one though, as Im not 100% sure what that deck is all about.

Traditional: 4/5
Advanced: 2/5 Outside of a golem deck, this card isnt all that useful anywhere else.

This is one of the few times I'll call a card just short of entirely useless. Without being able to Contact Fuse or having a Miracle Fusion-esque card, you'll need Future Fusion, Polymerization or Fusion Gate to summon it. Fusion Gate makes the effect of Multiple Piece Golem pointless and requiring Polymerization for a fusion that doesn't win you the game or some close just isn't worth it. If you're using Future Fusion, it's much better to use it for Chimeratech Overdragon instead since even if it's destroyed you can still Overload Fusion and have a potentially game winning monster on the field. Even if it did have an efficient way of being summoned, there are much better options when it comes to fusions.

This card requires you to have 2 monsters and a fusion card to bring this guy out and by the time you get this out your opponent may have 6 cards in their hand or on the field. This card would need a better effect for how many cards you are using to make this thing and how easy it can be destroyed. Then it has a Gladiator Beast effect where you can reborn the monsters used to bring out Multiple Piece Golem. I doubt that the card would get that far on many occasions.
