Dark Paladin

Thursday

Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter, another appropriately name monster, and a Lightsworn who is not a female, or a person, for that matter.  Ryko has 200 atk and 100 def, and is a Beast of the Earth attribute and Level 2.

The effect?  Incredibly simple...when flipped, you destroy one card on the Field and then send the top three cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.  That is technically a -2 for you, maybe worse, or maybe better, depending on something(s) being chained to this effect.

Deck destruction can be bad, but some of the Lightsworns depend on it, and it actually is beneficial for the Deck, as the Lightsworn monsters are quick.

Ratings:

2/5 even in it's own Deck for reasons listed above.

Thursday:
Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter

This card has the biggest chance out of the Lightsworns of being purely splashable.  Flipping kills any card AND mills 3?  It may have a slightly lower attack than Old Vindictive Magician, but that built-in Card Trooper mill makes up for it even in non-Lightsworn decks.  Any deck that needs to force something into the Graveyard can make use of this, and slower decks have a new "set, flip next turn and Tribute for something" monster.

5/5 for the theme, and 3.5/5 elsewhere.
General Zorpa Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter

This is the best Lightsworn Monster, as Judgment Dragon is technically not a Lightsworn. You flip and destroy ANY card on the field and send 3 cards from the deck to the grave. WOW. He is little, but his bite is worse than his bark. You can even destroy your own cards (Sangan, Level Limit Area B, Destiny Hero Disc Commander) if you nee dtheir death effects or to Special Summon them again to claim their effects.

Ryko's dump is almost as good as his effect. You can place Wulf to be Special Summoned, Judgment Dragon to be Special Summoned or dump DARKs to play DAD. In fact Japanese DAD decks are playing this guy in threes. SO I fully expect this card to be among the best out of LODT.

Still Yami pwii...

I don't see why anyone would play this. Even in a lightsworn deck, it's too slow; and even if it wasn't, assailant of darkness always gets the job done without milling the deck.

1/5 all.
