Photon Generator Unit ;

Why the hell are we doing this?

Photon generator unit is a bad card that’ll lose you two 2100 attackers in exchange for essentially 1 2400 attacker, or at very best, two 1200 attackers for the same thing. Cyber laser dragon, at least in this environment has no effect besides being a bad nomi, with seldom monsters being used anywhere with over 2400 attack.

The fact that this card needs 2 Cyber Dragons to tribute knocks it down hugely, and I wouldn’t use this even in a dedicated Cyber Dragon deck to be honest.

Traditional ; 1/5
Advanced ; 1/5

Art ; 2/5
MPS ; 4/5 I like Cyber Laser Dragon….

Photon Generator Unit

Wow...this is as bad as Fusion.

You have to give up TWO Cyber Dragons, along with the Photon Generator Unit itself, in order to bring out Cyber Laser Dragon -- a 2400 ATKer (monarch suicide, anyone?) who can destroy one monster stronger than itself or equal to itself for free once per turn. There are much easier ways to destroy opposing monsters that are stronger than this. Usually your troubles aren't with the strong monsters anyway; they're with the weak ones with powerful effects (Dekoichi, Tomato, DD Warrior Lady, etc.)

For this thing to pay for itself, it has to take out three other cards. I don't see that happening in a format where monsters are destroyed by battle or by effect in 1-2 turns tops.

1/5 all formats.

Ryoga
Photon Generator Unit:
This feels like reviewing a Ritual Spell Card.

- Quick-Play is good. You could use it in responce to a Sakuretsu (not Mirror Force) or after your Cyber Dragon's have attacked.
- Summoning from almost all known places is very good.
You only really need one nomi in the deck.
- Having two monsters on the field is hard. Especially with the same name. Especially when you'd have to Tribute Summon the second.
- Using this card on its own is stupid. Now, as Ritual Spell-eske cards go, this is good, but the cost is still too hard to manage.

Photon Generator Unit

This card is decent. Said Cyber Dragon dies to Zarborg or Bottomless Trap Hole, flip this baby over and watch it pay for itself.

But this card is of course pointless without Cyber Laser Dragon.

Now I am not going to say this card sucks, is a 1/5, etc. The other reviewers will do that. This card is used for character/Cyber Dragon Decks. It will never see the top tables of a Shonen Jump Tourny. I think we understand that. But if you play it your playing it for the true spirit of this game, to have fun. If used properly the card will generate plus advantage.

But a lot of loops to go through for it to work.

No Score, why would you run this without Laser?

Photon Generator Unit - Tuesday.

Ahh, another crappy card, that wont do much in competetive play, cause its effect makes you waste to big attackers, that could bring out something better than a Cyber Laser Dragon. Thats right today we look at Photon Generator Unit from Shadow of Infinity.

Can you spell crap? I spell it in Photon Generator Unit. The 2 Cyber Dragons

could better used to get a CTD out, or a CED and go for a big blow to opponents LP or even better end the game. If someone used this on me, I'd laugh and then cry. Maybe try in a Cyber Dragon deck, but I dont suggest it.

I dont like it all, this saddens my day.
