ExMinion OfDarkness
Sebek's Blessing

MEH.

A quick-play that only gains life, and has a trigger? Ew.

Okay, so for your one card, AT MOST, you're gaining 2,400. I'd actually rather have something as versatile as Poison of the Old Man instead of playing a card that MAY gain double the life but requires a rather specific setup.

Life gain typically isn't a tournament winning strategy, especially life gain that costs a card and needs a specific trigger. Not much more to say here, this card's bad.

1/5 all formats.

Ryoga
Sebek's Blessing:
Hmmm. Egypt. Crocodiles. Muddy water. Evil overlords.

Life gain sucks. I don't entirely know what it sucks, but it does. It might be useful for a Saturn deck, but that's about it. Yesterday I mentioned delaying the inevitable, and that is all Life Gain is. A card which reduces your opponent's Life Points is always much better than any card which increases your own.

Until such time as a card reads, "Activate this card when you have at least 20,000 Life Points. You win the game."

Tebezu
Sebek's Blessing

A card that increases the LP gap difference. It has a cool picture but the effect just does not merit play. If it stopped an attack or killed something it be great. But versatility and advantage are the rules of this game. This card does not offer either one of these options.

1/5

DeathJester
Sebek’s Blessing

I’ve never actually owned a real copy of Sebek’s Blessing until the Dinosaur structure was released. I know that’s not important, but I felt I had to make that statement. ^_^

I have one now, but it’s a common card.

Anyway, Sebek’s Blessing is another one of the Life Gain cards that nobody ever uses. Damage prevention and Life Gain really aren’t that bad you know. It works in Magic: The Gathering, why doesn’t it work in Yugioh? I’m working on finding that out.

Sebek’s Blessing is great card for gaining Life Points when attacking directly, but I wouldn’t recommend it as the primary choice among Life Gain cards. My pick would be Mystik Wok.

Last Word: Sebek’s Blessing is a cool card. You gain Life Points for attacking directly with one of your high attack monsters. It’s pretty decent, but Mystik Wok is more effective in the Life Gain category.
