Magical Scientist:

What more can we say about this card that hasn't been said in previous reviews? If it wasn't being run as a one-turn kill card, it was being run as a monster that could pretty much get rid of ANY threat for 1,000 Life Points. We could probably let this thing back in Advanced if we had a Kuriboh for effect damage (Hallowed Life Barrier and Pikeru's Circle don't count. I mean actual discard straight from hand to negate damage.)

As of now, he makes Traditional almost pointless as it's whoever gets his combo off first.

5/5 Traditional.

Also I'd like to wish a happy 1st birthday to MidnightBox.com. They're like Woot, but they have better stuff and don't sell out of their mystery items as fast. (I want my 2,000 Midnight Points now, :P)

Dark Paladin
The card winning the award for best common ever goes to...

*drumroll*

Magical Scientist!

Now, for the rest of this week, we are reviewing X-Men themed cards.
These are all a bit of a stretch, I'll admit, but the movie comes out on Friday, and I thought this would be a fun thing to do. Obviously, today is Magical Scientist, a card we aren't reviewing to state how good it is.

Magical Scientist is supposed to be a reference to Professor Xavier.
That scientist does look a bit like Patrick Stewart, doesn't he? No wheelchair, but what can you do. On a serious note of the actual card, he of course is godly in Traditional and has more OTK/FTK kills than you can shake a stick at.

Ratings:

X-Men deck: 5/5
Traditional: 5/5
Advanced: Banned/5

Art: 5/5

You stay classy, Planet Earth :)

Magical Scientist:
An X-Men themed week you say?

Well, prepare for tentative links here folks, since only one of these cards makes that much sense to me.

However, Magical Scientist is a fairly
self-explanatory Yu-Gi-Oh card. In Advanced, one is forbiden from running this most broken of commons. In Traditional, all should run him due to his wonderous Swiss-Army-Knife-like properties. Preferably, he should be run as FTK just to prove how silly traditional really is.

Traditional: 5/5
Advanced: n/a
X-Men: 1/5 (they're mutants, not created!)

Share and enjoy,
Ryoga
