Fusion Gate

Ah, this card is a MUST if you plan on playing a Fusion deck (that actually fuses the parts normally). Helping your opponent is pretty bad but Fusion Gate is simply more reliable than Polymerization. 1st of all, you can use a Single Fusion Gate mutiple times. 2nd of all, if it is negated by Imperial Order, it will stay on the field and you can use the effect once Imperial Order is gone. Although the Fusion Materials are removed from the game, you can combo it with stuff like Miracle Dig to get the pieces back. So, if you are planning on running a Fusion Deck, I would recommend running around 2 of each Fusion Gate and Polymerization.

Rating: 4.5/5
wartortle32 Friday - Fusion Gate

This card lets you fuse monsters without using polymerization. However, the fusion material monsters are removed from play, rather than sent to the grave.

Obviously this card is only meant for fusion decks.  This does allow fusion decks to go alot faster, plus it's only a common, which is alot easier to get than
the rare poly. The downside of removing your monsters from play isn't too bad, although it makes it really vulnerable to de-fusion. It just means that you wont
be able to revive those material monsters.

I give it 3.5/5. Note that this rating is only for fusion decks. It's gets a 1 in any other deck.

Friday - Fusion Gate

I'll keep this one short.  Fusion Gate is one of those situational cards, like Toon World and (its brother) Polymerization.  If you run Fusion, you're gonna use it.  If you don't run Fusion, you're not going to use it.  If you run Fusion, this makes a nice alternative to Polymerization (especially if you can't get Poly, which shouldn't be a problem, because it's in the Joey starter deck, which I believe is out already).

This is a field card, so you can use it numerous times, but there's always that drawback.  If the Fusion Monster gets destroyed within a turn, you just wasted 2 (possibly) useful cards that you won't get back.  I suppose you could combo with Miracle Dig =/

Most people will probably use this as a replacement for Polymerization, and I don't blame them.  This is a good card.  And at a short-print common, how can you not like it? (although it's not holo)

Score: You can't really give a overall score, but a Fusion deck score would be like 3.8.  Obviously, in a non-Fusion deck, it would be 0.0.

Fusion Gate
LON - 98
Field Magic

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, a Fusion monster can be special summoned without using "Polymerization". The Fusion-Material monsters used in the fusion are not sent to the graveyard, but are removed from play.

This is easily one of those fun-based cards, but as a secondary effect it will make Fusions somewhat playable. IMO the majority of Fusions are still not worth playing, but some like Last Warrior From Another Planet seem very interesting.

There are multiple combos you can pull off with all the new Fusion based cards in LON. Cards such as Supply allow you to get multiples of the same Fusion out on the field quickly.

Also, if you didn't know, this effect also applies to your opponent. This can sometimes be a downside, but it isn't a very big one. If your opponent is also playing Fusions, it wouldn't take much energy for them to play their own Fusion Gate regardless.

Rating: 3.3/5
