Mirror Force:

Casual Play: 5
Tourney Play: 4.5
Overall Play: 4.75

Pros:
+ This card is basically a raigeki and wabuku in one.
+ This card can clear the field for you.
+ This card is so good they had to restrict it.
+ Gets rid of oppenent's threats.

Cons:
- Wastes space?
- Thieves Seven Tools is like hah! I don't think so
- Defense monsters are not effected by Mirror Force.

RFP: Well, this is one of those cards that has two purposes in one. This
card is like a second raigeki, and a Waboku, except for ALL monsters in
attack mode. So if they have a monster in face down defense mode then that
monster would not be effected. Another aspect of why this card is so great
is, because it clears mons from the field. Thus getting rid of your
oppenent's threats, and most likely having you attack them for direct
damage. And finally the most obvious is because this card is restricted.
Any card that is restricted will most likey get a 4 or higher.

RFC: Even though this is a joke, I said the card wastes space. This card
should be included in every deck. If its not in your deck your excuse should
be "I don't own one." Thats your only excuse. Ah Metal Raiders, this set
brings some god like counter traps. And Thieves Seven Tools is one of them.
This is the only counter to this trap card, otherwise from me this card
would get a five. The last con, although its not a big one is that this card
doesn't effect face down monsters. You have cards like acid trap hole for
those pesy defense monsters so its not really a big deal.

Combos:

There aren't really any combos with this card except maybe big storm +
Mirror force you'd have a clear field, and then you could attack for direct
LP damage without any worries unless they had a defense monster of course.

Well MRD will bring some very spiffy cards indeed. I can't wait until it
comes out so I can have some fun with the decks that everyone wants to
build... And well have fun with MRD when it comes out!

Thursday - Mirror Force

If you don't know, Mirrior Force reads: When an opponent's monster attacks, negate the attack and destroy all opponent's monsters in attack position.

What happens when there is a cross between Waboku and Raigeki? Mirrior Force. Your deck should contain this along with Raigeki and Dark Hole. Take a look, now you have three mass destruction cards included in your deck. The best part is, it's perfectly legal.

Here's a detailed strategy on how to use Mirrior Force effectively: When your facing a large army of monsters about to crush your head in, simply flip it over. Amazing isn't it.

Of course it can be countered, but thats a chance every Magic/Trap/Monster card has to take.

Thur- Mirror Force

OMG… You thought they couldn’t top Raigeki, didn’t you? Well, they DID. They made it better. If you use Polymerzation on Attack Nullification and Raigeki you get this… Well, not really, but that’s what Mirror Force does. Negates an attack and destroys all monsters that are able to attack, thus ending their Battle Phase. Man… This card is just MEAN. >_< Usually, you’re safe from those restricted magic cards on your own turn, but not now. There’s always that chance that a Mirror Force is waiting to strike you down… But at least now there are Counter Traps flying about… Magic Jammer and the like… Still… Mean card. ;-;

Rating: 5/5 – You play this.

All Scores: 5.0 (basically a second Raigeki)

I introduce you to Mirror Force, one of Yugi's most potent cards.  This is basically a second Raigeki, in the form of a trap.  Your opponent may not see it coming, until their attack forces are wiped out.  Sure, it can't take out defenders, but that's just a minor problem.

Combos:

You can't really use combos with this guy.  He kind of stands alone.

Counters:

Seven Tools of the Bandit/Solemn Judgment: Oh well, they have to pay LP to negate it.  Fear.

Casual/Tournament Play:
Play the only one you can have in your deck.  It WILL be restricted to 1 the instant it hits these shores.

TOMORROW'S COTD: Tribute to the Doomed....A.K.A. Fissure on steroids.

Melkor

Wow, continuing a week of very interesting cards, we have one that simply makes me drool, Mirror Force (they removed the Holy Barrier part in the translation). It's simply...amazing. It's mayhaps my favorite card in all of Duel Monsters. The card is great, to put it mildly. Of course, for such greatness, it'll most definitely be restricted to one per deck, but still, it's awesome.

This card is monster removal and attack negation all in one. Not only do you get direct damage against your opponent next turn if they don't summon a new monster in main phase II, but an attack that may have killed you is completely erased. That is just amazingly good and should be used in any deck. This will be THE target of trap negation. It just is worthy of so much praise.

Downsides? It can be stopped by one trap in the entire game as of Metal Raiders, basically. Wow. Other than that, I don't see any. It's that good. Again, praise is really all it deserves. It'll win many a close game, or even turn the tides in the owner's favor. However, since it will be restricted to one, it may not see as much play as you'd like it to thanks to draw luck and such, but, ah well. Remember, when you lay this down, don't use it on the first attack. Wait for the perfect moment.

Rating - 5.0 Play it in every deck possible.

Mirror Force - UR

Trap. When an opponent's monster attacks, negate the attack and destroy all opponent's monsters in attack position

Ah.. One of the reasons i love Yu-Gi-Oh. This game is all about strategy. With Metal Raiders the new magic and trap cards are giving this game more strategy than ever. Mirror force is a really strong card that should never be overlooked. Ive played people that just attack me blindly with monsters not realizing or giving a care for my trap/magic field. With this new card I am sure more people will think twice about attacking and switching cards to defense positions more often. This card is one of the best trap cards so make sure to add some to your deck. What better way to screw your opponents plan over after doing change of heart, monster reborn an playing a monster trying to win them the game in one vicious attack.

Trap. When an opponent's monster attacks, negate the attack and destroy all
opponent's monsters in attack position.

Tournament- 5/5
Normal- 5/5

This is deffintly one of the most powerful traps in the game. This will
probally find itself in everyones deck. Broken is the only word I can give
this card. Im possitive that this card will be restricted. With the
following sets more cards will be set out to destroy magic and traps, so
further we go on the less these powerful cards will effect a game. Right
now though it takes control, PLAY THIS CARD.....
