Prohibition
Continuous Magic
When you play this card, declare the name of 1 card. As long as this card remains on the field, the declared card cannot be played. The cards which are already on the field before this card's activation are excluded.

I kinda like this card. If you also play MtG, you would also note its resemblance to Meddling Mage. It goes well in control decks where you rely on cards like Messenger of Peace and Gravity Bind. Just Prohibit stuff like Heavy Storm and Mystical Space Typhoon (and maybe even Jinzo and Imperial Order), and your opponent would have a really hard time getting rid of your Magic/Traps. Also works well after a Cyber Jar since you would know which cards would hurt you the most...

These also go well in Sidedeck. If your opponent is playing some unorthodox cards that you are not prepared for, just Prohibit them in the 2nd and 3rd Duels.

Rating: 3.5/5
Yonex Prohibition -- Monday

Introduction: You have Raigeki? You can't play it! HaHaHaHa!

Continuous Magic
When you play this card, declare the name of 1 card. As long as this card
remains on the field, the declared card cannot be played. The cards which
are already on the field before this card's activation are excluded.

Why should you use it?
*Counter?
*Slow someone down?

Why shouldn't you use it?
*Affects you too
*So many cards

Reasons: A very interesting card today, I have been waiting to do a review
on this card. This card can prohibit someone from playing a specific card,
which in the end can be very very helpful. Also, if someone basis on running
something as a combo or something, naming the card can totally slow them
down. This decrease in pace, and give you the advantage needed for a win.
Well, this card also affects you, and you might not have a way to get rid of
this card at all. There are also so many cards out there, but the most
average decks, you can pin point the most used cards, and then name it.

Rating: Very interesting card. Not bad at all. If this was a Trap, it be so
broken. But since it isn't, it is not as great. Still a good card though.
This gets a 3.5. This card has potential of being good, yet also bad.

Conclusion: Upperdeck should have prohibit Prohibition? Time will tell...

wartortle32 Monday - Prohibition

Today we look at prohibition. This card prevents 1 card that you name from being played. Cards of that name on the field are unaffected.

This can be a life saver for decks that know they have 1 weak point. This card can seriously hurt a player's deck, especially if you know that player's theme ahead of time. Plus, you can combo it with more prohibitions to stop the opponent from destroying your first prohibition with heavy storm, mst, etc...  For example, let's say you get out 2 prohibition and you declare la jinn and dark elf as the 2 cards. That can basically shut down an entire beatdown deck if they cant remove that prohibition. As for duelists that know they will be vulnerable to this card, you may think of putting in prohibition yourself to stop those prohibitions from being played.

I give this card a 3/5. It can seriously throw off some decks, but have little effect on others. I suggest putting this in the side deck, and not the main.

NickWhiz1 Monday - Prohibition

This card has possibilities. Want to protect your Magic/Traps? Prohibition Heavy Storm. Afraid of Equipment cards? Prohibition Axe of Despair or Megamorph. Mad that your opponent is a rich snob that is related to the owner of a card shop? Prohibition Mechanicalchaser or Morphing Jar (all hate mail can go to brick@wall.com).

Ehhhh.......this card is way too situational for maindeck play. Side deck it, then bring it in second game to counter your opponent's biggest threat to your deck.

Score: 2.4
