#143 - One For the Road
With the island only seconds away from exploding,
everyone boards the Kaiba Corp. helicopter sent to take
Joey to the hospital. Yugi thinks the Kaiba bros. lost
as the island blows, but then they appear in Kaiba's
Blue Eyes White Dragon based custom plane. Back on the
mainland Duke, Mai, Marik, Odeon, Ishizu, Bakura, and
Tristen go their seperate ways, with a little attempted
relationship advancement on the part of both Tristen and
Duke.
Everyone departs, and the next day, Joey and Yugi meet
in the alleyway for a
rematch for the Red Eyes Black Dragon. Note: the end of
this episode is really lame because the duel is never
shown. It doesn't occur during the next episode nor
during the Yu-Gi-Oh Movie that takes place between the
Battle City and Orichalcos Seasons. Also, in the next
season Joey inexplicably has his Red Eyes Black Dragon
back and with no mention of his victory against Yugi.
