Face Off: Part 3
Last time, Seto Kaiba and
Yami Y
ugi
continued their duel at the foot of Pegasus' castle.
Kaiba used the Crush Card virus to infect Yugi's deck
and prevent him from using monsters with more than 1500
attack points. Kaiba then polymerized all 3 of his Blue
Eyes White Dragons to create the Blue Eyes Ultimate
Dragon! Things looked bad for Yugi as he called on the
heart of the cards for guidance while drawing form the
deck...
Yugi then plays his latest
card: Kuriboh, in Attack Mode! Kaiba is shocked, because
Kuriboh is the weakest monster in the game (it's stats
are Attack:300, Defense:200). Yugi then uses the
Multiply card, which works only with monsters that have
less than 500 attack points to create many Kuriboh.
Kaiba orders the Ultimate Dragon to attack, but the
Kuriboh remain and continue to multiply! Yami Yugi
explains that since there are now many Kuriboh, he will
not lose any lifepoints unless all of them are destroyed
in a single turn. Since the Multiply magic card creates
an endless number of copies, it is impossible to destroy
them all at once. Yami Yugi then plays out his hand:
Mammoth Graveyard, Polymerization, and Living Arrow.
Yugi uses the Living Arrow magic to fuse Mammoth
Graveyard to the Ultimate Dragon! Yugi then points out
that since Mammoth Graveyard is an undead monster, it
cannot properly fuse with Kaiba's dragon. Instead,
Mammoth Graveyard causes the Ultimate Dragon to weaken
and rot away. Kaiba is stunned, thinking he has lost. He
sees his chance to save his brother Mokuba slipping
away. Kaiba envisions Mokuba inside the dying Ultimate
Dragon. Mokuba is trapped and there is nothing Kaiba
could do to help him! Kaiba then wakes up out of his
nightmare, not giving up just yet.
Meanwhile, Kaiba then stands up on
the castle railing, warning Yugi that if the Ultimate
Dragon is destroyed,
