DUELISTS CAN BRING A FRIEND TO GET AN EXCLUSIVE DECK CASE FOR THE UPCOMING Yu-Gi-Oh! DEMO DAY!

El Segundo, Calif. (May 4, 2015) – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KONAMI), a leader in the trading card game category, is once again pleased to announce Yu-Gi-Oh! Demo Day, an exciting program being held nationwide at Official Tournament Stores (OTS), on May 9, 2015. Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) Duelists are encouraged to bring a friend to Demo Day to get a one-of-a-kind item not available anywhere else!

Held at select OTS throughout North and Latin America, Yu-Gi-Oh! Demo Day is designed to give new and novice Duelists a safe and inviting place to learn how to play with others who are also new to the game.  Parents are also encouraged to participate in the fun and to see what the Yu-Gi-Oh! Community has to offer. These select Official Tournament Stores will have staff on-site to conduct Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME demonstrations for new Duelists.

New this year is a “Bring a Friend” campaign – current players that refer a new player will receive an exclusive, lenticular, foldable Deck Case only available at Demo Day, plus a random booster pack included in the kit. In addition, new players that were referred to Yu-Gi-Oh! Demo Day will also receive an exclusive lenticular Deck Case, including additional Demo Decks to help them build out their card collection.

“We are excited to offer a new twist to an already successful Yu-Gi-Oh! Demo Day program. The Bring a Friend campaign is a great way to introduce even more players to the game and to Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Organized Play,” said Yumi Hoashi, Vice President of Card Business for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. “Both experienced Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG players and novices will find a welcoming environment at Official Tournament Stores to hone their Dueling skills.”

Participating stores for Yu-Gi-Oh! Demo Day can be found at http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/events/specialevents/demoday_current-locations.html.

The exclusive lenticular Deck Cases will only be available while supplies last.
