IN SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA APRIL 20th  – 21st

Younger Players Can Compete in Dragon Duel

El Segundo, CA (April 10, 2013) – Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) players from across Central America are busy strengthening their Decks in preparation for next month’s Yu-Gi-Oh! CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES (YCS) San José, Costa Rica.  Duelists participating at this premier-level Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG event from Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (Konami) can anticipate two days of action-packed Dueling with hundreds of players, traveling from near and far, expecting to compete at the YCS San José, Costa Rica April 20th – 21st.

The head-to-head battles start early Saturday as the First Round of the competition gets underway.  Duelists will be playing hard right out of the gate in hopes of making it through in good standing to Sunday’s rounds, with all eyes on the ultimate honor, a seat at the Final Round table. The Final Round will showcase the best two Duelists, each playing for the chance to raise the YCS San José, Costa Rica Champion Trophy in victory!

Pre-registration for YCS José will run from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19th. Players that pre-register and submit a Deck list will be the first to receive the brand-new YCS Token Card, making its debut at YCS Costa Rica! Registration will begin again promptly at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20th.  Upon registering, Duelists will receive three Cosmo Blazer booster packs for participating in Konami’s YCS San José, Costa Rica.  Round One will start at 10:00 a.m. and the Top 16 or 32 YCS finishers (depending on attendance) will earn invitations to participate in the 2013 World Championship Qualifier – Continental, of their region.
