KONAMI DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT ROLLS INTO

AMERICA’S FINEST CITY DURING SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON

Attendees Can Create Personalized Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Token Cards

El Segundo, CA (July 6, 2012) – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (Konami), the makers of the global pop-culture sensation Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG), brings a host of fun and engaging activities for attendees to experience at the San Diego Comic-Con International from July 12th – July 15th.  Showcasing the world’s best-selling Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, the Konami booth (#3713) is a must-visit for attendees of all ages during the massively famous five day show.

Each year Comic-Con lives up to its reputation for delivering the best pop-culture keepsakes.  And this year attendees will want to make a beeline to the Konami booth to create their own exclusive one-of-a-kind Yu-Gi-Oh! Token Card. They can choose from five different card backgrounds with characters, including favorites like Yusei Fudo, Kaiba Seto and Yuma Tsukumo, to create their own personalized Token Card – suitable for use during Duels!  Duelists can also create their own COSSY ID card needed for tournament play.

Attendees can get a first look and also purchase Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG products at Comic-Con, including the exciting new Samurai Warlords Structure Deck and Battle Pack: Epic Dawn! With Token Card in hand, attendees will want to stick around and get a Yu-Gi-Oh! game demonstration from the experts.  Those completing a demo will receive a show exclusive coupon good for $2 off the purchase of a Starter Deck: Xyz Symphony (redeemable only at Konami’s booth during Comic-Con). Additionally, they can try out the recently released Yu-Gi-Oh! BAM Facebook game – an entry level version of the world’s most popular TCG!

For the avid Duelist or players looking for a more formal gameplay experience, Konami will host Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG open play in Ballroom 16 A throughout the entire convention.

San Diego Comic Con hours:

Wednesday, July 11: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Preview Night; some activities not available)

Thursday, July 12: 9:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 14: 9:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 15: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

ZEXAL animated series as well as classic Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes on TheCW4Kids programming block, the leading Saturday morning kids broadcast network in the United States. In Canada, Duelists can watch episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL every Friday and Saturday on YTV! Fans can also view their favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes at www.CW4Kids.com.
