Pre-tourney: I wake up later than I am suppose to at 9:30 so I quickly get dressed and do the usual. I head out to Cumberland Farms and get a Vault blitz and a king size Receese for $1.39 because Vaults were on sale for $1.04 and there was a deal that if you purchase a coca-cola product you get $1.00 off a king size Receese bar. At around 10:10, Mike picks me up and I am informed that Chris (Mike's nephew) is finally returning to dueling action. After going to the bus station and riding the bus we arrive at 11:30. waiting around, Chuckie comes in and I decide to see if hr has anything good to trade which he did because he got packs during the week. I trade him a shrink and an ultra rare Strike Ninja for 2 super rare Sky Scrouge Enrise, an ultimate rare Volcano Shell, and a rare Volcano Shell. Next Ken arrives as I say "Yess finally" but to my dismay he didn't bring his machine deck, which included my ultimate rare Cyberdark Dragon. He begs me for my super rare Great Shogun Shein so I trade it to him for a super rare Dark World Dealings and an ultimate rare Ultimate Insect Lv5. Then this kid whom I believe is Italian shows up after a six month absence from the card shop. He didn't have anything I was interested in so I didn't trade with him. The kids from off-cape who came a few weeks ago arrive and we are ready to kick the tourney off as Chuckie's 6 year old brother enters.

Round one: JT (machine deck) vs, Dan B. (Airknight deck)
Duel one: In the beginning, like during the second turn I attack one of Dan's goats with Cyberdark Horn equipped with Exploder Dragon but the finish saw myself activate Future Fusion, Giant Trunade, and then Overload Fusion to summon a 7200 ATK Chimeratech while his Mobius the frost monarch is on the field. I then normal summon Neo-Spacien Grandmole to attck and bounce the monarch back to Dan's hand. I finish with a direct attack by Chimeratech Overdragon for game. Dan had 0 life points left but if you really want to get down to it, he had -1000 life points left.
Duel two: I had Heavy Storm activated and then I attacked D.D. Warrior Lady with Chimeratech Overdragon for 5100 points of damage. My Chimeratech was obviously removed. Spirit Reaper was on the field a few turns later as I summoned Exploder Dragon but Dan used Torrential Tribute, which wasn't a good idea as I call Cyber Phoenix into battle for the win. Dan's life points went from 400 to -800.
Winner: JT 2-0

While I waited for the others to finish Ken bought a force of the breaker booster pack and pulled an ultimate rare Tri-Blaze accelerator as I try to get it off of him. I then walk around some more for like 15 minutes until..

Round two: JT (Machine deck) vs. Gabe (Monarch beatdown)
Duel one: Jinzo and Cyber Phoenix attacked for game I think but all I remember was I had 5100 life points left.
Duel two: I summon Exploder Dragon and set Ring of Destruction after postponing my defeat with swords of revealing light. When swords was gone by Mystical Space Typhoon I ringed Exploder during Gabe's draw phase for the win.
Winner: JT 2-0

Not much happened during the time everyone else were playing but I just wander around.

Round three: JT (Machine deck) vs. Ryan (Stealth burn)
Note: This was not the same Ryan that cheats against me as this Ryan was older and did not live around here.
Duel one: I only discovered what kind of deck this was when he used Gravity Bind and Wave-motion Cannon to basically kill me. I believe he had 7300 life points left.
Duel two: This was indeed my deck's weakness but I do better, which in the long run doesn't mean anything. Ryan had 5200 life points left. The deck he used had Mystic Tomato, Stealth Bird, and Sangan.
Winner: Ryan 2-0

I wander around since I didn't feel like trading. (It isn't like me not to feel like trading.

Round four: JT (machine deck) vs. Mike Courtney (Exodia deck)
Duel one: I lossed when he drew into his final Exodia piece with only 2300 life points to spare.
Duel two: I snatch steal his Gravekeeper's Spy, take control of his Gear Golem the moving fortress with Enemy Controller as I have Cyber Twin Dragon and Jinzo already on the field. Gravekeeper's  Spy attcks one goat, Gear Golem the moving fortress attacks another goat, Jinzo then attacks one, Cyber Twin Dragon attcks his other Gravekeeper's Spy, and finally uses his other attack to finish Mike off.
Duel three: Mike had 5200 life points left and I had 2800 life points left when he used his Emissary of the Afterlife to attack into my Cyberdark Keel equipped with Masked Dragon to search out the final Exodia piece. After that, Mike had 4600 life points left.
Winner: Mike 2-1

Still nothing to do but eat pizza while waiting for the other people to finsh up.

Round five: (There usually isn't a fifth round unless there are 16 or more people entering.) JT (Machine deck) vs. Chuckie (Crystal Beast deck using two Saphire Pegasus and no Rare Values)
Duel one: I owned him with Cyber End Dragon, Cyber Phoenix, and Cyberdark Horn to force him into scooping.
Duel two: I ultimately had 1550 life points left as he had 400 left when he used Magna-Slash Dragon to rid me of my traps and attack for game.
Duel three: Chuckie had 2350 life points left as he beat me with Crystal Beast monsters plus Gravi-Crush Dragon.
Winner: Chuckie 2-1

Post-tourney: I didn't make it into top 8 so I didn't pay attention to who won what and stuff. Looking for some sort of redemption I decide out of desperation to sell Ken my Ring of destruction for $10 so I could buy s Force of the breaker boosters but I pull a rare Lucky Iron Axe and a rare santuary in the sky searcher. I say to myself "Oh well, I had my fair share of luck in terms of pulls over the past two weeks". Mike buys three after selling and borrowing $15 from Ken. Mike pulls an ultimate rare Volcano Shell, a super rare Radient Mirror Force, and some rare. Ken wanted to trade for Mike's Radient Mirror Force but while Mike is purchasing his third pack I steal his trade so I trade Ken a super rare Radient Mirror Force, a rare Power Bond, and some rare for his ultimate rare Tri-Blaze Accelerator as Mike didn't seem ro happy about it but oh well. I go after the two Volcano Rockets I traded Mike four weeks ago and I get them for two Infernal Dragons. I also trade Mike a DR1 Reflect Bounder for an ultimate rare Volcano Shell so now I have two. Next Chris gets my attention and says "JT, we haven't dueled in a while" so I quickly take care of him with Cyber End Dragon directly attacking him with Limiter Renoval activated. After that I tag duel with Mike against chris and this kid I bought the CRV Cyber End Dragon from. Mike and I win to end our day. Mike, Chris, and I head to the bus stop and meet ken there. While waiting for his ride I mention to Ken to bting his Cyberdark Dragon next week and show up. After Ken gets picked up, the bus arrives and we end our day on a strong note. Tomorrow (Sunday June 17, 2007) I will go to the mall like Friday and look to run into people I know and buy 2 Force of the breaker boosters with the money I am getting for my good grades.
