Guess all the little kids were busy playing with their Christmas stuffs and decided not to come up for the tourney. Anyway I got some good trades the night before thanks to the other TBS location's crowd and a fusion deck before the tournament, so my Yugioh stuff's looking good right now. I'll list the sidedeck today because it was a key role throughout the tournament. So here's the full list:

Monsters: 18
1 Breaker the Magical Warrior
2 Cyber Dragon
1 D. D. Assailant
1 D. D. Warrior Lady
1 Don Zaloog
1 Exiled Force
2 Magical Merchant
1 Magician of Faith
1 Mobius the Frost Monarch
1 Mystic Swordsman LV2
2 Mystic Tomato
1 Sangan
2 Spirit Reaper
1 Tsukuyomi

Traps: 10
1 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 Call of the Haunted
2 Dust Tornado
3 Sakuretsu Armor
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Trap Hole
1 Widespread Ruin

Spells: 12
1 Book of Moon
1 Dark Hole
1 Heavy Storm
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Nobleman of Crossout
1 Pot of Avarice
1 Premature Burial
1 Reinforcement of the Army
1 Scapegoat
2 Smashing Ground
1 Snatch Steal

Fusion Deck:
1 Dark Balter the Terrible
2 Dark Blade the Dragon Knight
2 Fiend Skull Dragon
2 Fusionist
1 Karbonala Warrior
3 Ojama King
3 Super Roboyarou
1 Thousand-Eyes Restrict (shuffled back in the fusion deck when you pick it for Pot of Avarice, yet no ones played this version yet)

Sidedeck: (which surprisingly few big tourney winner have played with this deck)
1 D. D. Assailant
2 Dark Mimic LV
1 Des Wombat
1 King Tiger Wanghu
2 Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer (for the mirror FYI)
1 Ceasefire
1 Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell
1 Dust Tornado
1 Royal Decree
1 Brain Control
1 D. D. Designator
1 Metamorphosis
1 Pot of Avarice

Round 1 vs. Travis w/ Bazoo
He randomly played Bazoo/Return from the Different Dimension this week and got me first game. I sidedecked in 2 Dark Mimic LV1, morph, and the second Pot. I annihilated him in two more games, and in one I managed to cast Pot of Avarice two turns in a row to put all my monsters back in my deck.

Round 2 vs. ? w/ Noobish Zombie
Some guy that hangs around the scrubs at the junior college I was in. Anyway I drew godly hands and blew him away more than I normally would've, since LV2 goes to town on that deck.

Round 3 vs. Cody w/ the mirror
He plays Dark Mimic LV1, 2 Pots, and morph main, instead of me maining more toolbox stuff. I drew godly like toolbox should do first game and beat him with LV2 followed by Exiled, which I called the turn after and prematured the turn after that. Second game I sidedecked bad and got stomped. Last game I decided to put the mirror stuff in and I beat him down with something along the lines of a +4 advantage for the majority of the game. As usual he complains that he can't beat someone with god luck, that I'm a noob, etc etc.

Semis vs. ? w/ Janky McJank
A kid who actually beat my brother one game one time and got to the semis when there was a top 8. Anyway there was nothing to see here, he got a Blue-Eyes, which he killed his hand getting out with Ultimate Offering and equipped with a UWS, Sak Armored, and he rammed IFL into my DDWL early on. +5 advantage wins that game. Second game he gets out random stuff like Ominous Fortunetelling but still loses.

Finals vs. Cody w/ mirror
I let him win so I could get the extra stamp (and because we were elbow deep in trades), and we split everything. We each got $19.50 in credit although somehow I ended up with $26 in credit on my card and I got 7 stamps while he got 6 (I need 5 more to have a full card that turns in for $10 credit).

Props:
-Making about $28 cash and alot in trades Saturday and more the night before
-Beating Cody despite the scrubs thinking it impossible to do
-There being a lock-in later that night and people showing up at like 4 with Xboxes and tvs for it
-The lock-in for being awesome
-Chocolate milk for existing
-Exiled for working insanely well in a Toolbox/Pot deck like mine

Slops:
-Me putting that comment about Zaborg in the props section last week... oops
-Only selling small stuff, aside from a Pot of Avarice for $12
-Only having one Yugioh tourney during the lock-in, and I dropped out since it was just a free one for hobby stuff and I valued chilling with friends more than a shirt/mat I'd just trade off
-The store for never sending in UDE tourney results like they should... too bad UDE isn't the DCI and actually fixes that sort of thing

Paul Reinhardt, email me as always if you want instructions to TBS Comics to come face all of us
