(I know it's late.)

I go to my local card shop every Saturday for the weekly tournament. The admission is $5 and you get a pack of your choice that is being sold. I went with a Chaos deck I built:

Any way 1st round.

IN the first duel of the match, he only drew bad cards.
It was all monsters. The second was a little harder. I drew good cards and it took me a little longer to beat him. I won the Match.
1-0

2nd round:
Forgot who I dueled but I won it. I don't remember much.
2-0

3rd round:
Here's where I got very irritated. My opponent kept summoning Kycoo and playing Snatch Steal on my Mirage Dragon. Every time I drew CS, I couldn't use him. I couldn't use my Traps in the Battle Phase. I lost this duel.

4th round:
I lost the 1st and won the 2nd. During the 3rd, someone came up and said that the winner of this duel will be in the top 8. It went into overtime(I had about 7200 LP and he had about 1100 LP) and I won.
This kid was hard to beat and he got into Top 8,too.(Now I knew I beat my old record of 9th place)

Quarterfinals:
I faced the person from Round 3 and lost and the duel was very similar to the Round 3 duel.
3-2 (and out of the tournament)


I found out I got 6th place.

Pros:
Getting 6th place with an original Chaos deck.
Getting to the Top 8.
Getting to 6th place.

Cons:
Nothing good in SoI pack.
Having to face the same person again and losing in a similar fashion.
Not getting to the final four.

I'm really happy with how my Chaos deck turned out.

Well, I'll have to try better next week.
