This is my latest and greatest,I simply call it HINO.Now I know what some
people are going to say it doesn't look like a spirit or a fire deck,I tried
that route and chaos decks ate me alive, and I don't like burn decks because
they are simply annoying. This deck centers around me getting Hino on the
field with a clean shot and Wham you have no hand and I pummel you with
Gorilla's or Kycoo. The level conversion Lab is an outstanding card for this
deck because you only get killed if you roll a 1,a roll of 2,3,4 means your
monster is that many stars,5-6 means 1 tribute now I know the downside a
2800-2900 monster that returns to your hand but it leaves your opponent with
no hand at all and you just start smacking him around until he's
finished. This deck just takes some thinking that's all.Well on to the
matches:

1st Match
I remember this kid he's a little older than I remember he used to play the
game with his dad and was pretty good,he doesn't shake hands at the end of
the duel though..don't like that but oh well..the first game was over
incredibly fast my opening hand was a spirit reaper which I set and level
conversion lab which I set, after he went first and played a gorila and
attacked and put a card face down.I drew pot and got Hino and giant
trunade.I triggered my trap and rolled my dice getting a I could tell he was
waiting for me to summon,I played my trunade then played Hino killing his
hand. The look on his face was priceless, I then got Kycoo and a Gorilla and
pummeled him.The second game went for a little bit but then I Hino him and
more Gorilla's. I win 2-0.

2nd Match
This time I was playing Brian who I normally just play because we are alot
older than everyone else I'm 36,he's 37 and we just don't get as emotional
as everyone else.He runs an undead/Phoenix/BLS deck which is pretty good
considering he has 2 Vlords and he gets them out fast, fast fast. The 1st game
he didn't draw anything,I could see it on his face I played a breaker and
his face down was mirror force I break through it and kill his face down
which is a pyramid turtle,he brings out Vlord and I set a trap(level
conv). He kills my Breaker, and calls trap I got rid of a dust tornado I
realize that he doesn't haver another monster in his hand .He sets a trap
card I believe he's bluffing I snatch his Vlord for Mobious blow up the 2
cards 1 is NOC and the other was smashing ground,I blast him for 2400,then I
just pour it on from there. The 2nd game I drew nothimg to start all magics I
was holding my own until BLS came and I had no answer for that I got
creamed. The 3rd game was weird he used the Magician of faith combo on me and
with Tsukuyomi and kept getting cards wiith pot it was only a matter of time
he just wore me down.I lost 1-2

3rd match
Never seen this kid before but he was pretty good he had 3 GOF and alot of
the usual staples the first game he just beat me.I went into another mode
because the next game I Hino'd him twice and when I say quick, it was over
quick. The 3rd game he was stuck with scapegoats and I got my Battle Ox out
with gorill's and just pasted him.

Now we were waiting to see who made the final eight my son informs with his
new equip deck he hasn't lost so he's 3-0,my younger son wants a video game
I tell him he should wait to ask his mother when we get home he say's he'll
settle for some potato skins(cause he knows mom rules the house)I make the
top 8 and I play Damian who I've palyed alot.

1st match
I got Hino out quick so quick that when he discarded his hand he had a
phoenix and BLS in it I played soul release on it and I kicked the crap out
of him.The second match he beat me with L. vortex and he brought all these
monsters back from the grave. The 3rd game I got H.storm and blew up 2 of his
traps enemy controller and torrential,I then NOC his cyber jar and my spirit
reapers and Gorilla's destroyed his hand then his life points.I win 2-1

2nd match
Me and Brian again this time we get going the same as we did last time I get
Hino on the field and destroy his hand then his life points. The 2nd game he
got that T. eye's restrict on the field and I couldn't do anything at
all.3rd game I got Hino out on him thanks to getting pot a second time with
my MOF and I do the trunade thing, followed by Hino and with a Kycoo from the
grave to start removing his monster's I win 2-1.

3rd and final MATCH
I would've played my son I really like this Gearfreid Sword master deck of
his I forgot that when you play release restraint on the iron knight you can
take from your deck and Hudson beat him.Hudson runs a chaos deck with Chaos
sorcerer and BLS, all of his monsters are light or dark.I can't wait until
BLS is gone.1st game he was totally unprepared for Hino, when I got him on
the field after playing lvl conversion he was like "what's his effect?"When
I told him he had a confused look and I pummeled him.He side decked for what
I don't know. The 2nd game was good he got the chaos sorcerer on nthe field
and he just beat me.I thought about side decking but no I will tough it
out,we played for a while until he couldn't stop my gorilla's I got Hino on
him and that was game. What a great tourney.

-slops-
- If you are not playing sit on the side and be quiet, don't offer advice
while people are dueling.
-People who plop down and eat right next to you when your dueling that's
kind of rude.
-people that don't help other people put their decks together,we all started
somewhere help beginners and treat them with a little respect.

props
-my opponents they were all quality and to be the best you must beat the
best your store has to offer.
-my kids because they make playing this game worthwhile and just to be a joy
to spend time with.
-my wife because she puts up with the 3 slackers and let's go to yu gi oh
tourney's and is a great mom.
-And last but by no means least all the people that are suffering from the
hurricane, you guys are the real heroes and you get big props from me.Those
reading my tourney report if you have a chance to give or help in anyway
please do it's a worthy cause that's what makes America great we get knocked
down but we don't stay down , we ban together to help each other and that's
what life is all about so please if you can help do so and at the very least
keep these people in your prayers.Thank you duelists take care.Email if you
need any help with your deck or anything else for that matter.
