After adding a side deck to the original, I decided to go with this again. I’m trying to make a warrior deck...unsuccessfully...anyway, here’s the deck.

After a good long search for the Gamecube’s power cable, I got to play Animal Crossing for about 5 minutes. Then the pairings were announced. For whatever reason, today was swiss style.



1st Round
TrooperDragon vs. Ryan
This guy runs a warrior deck that seems to be able to get around everything. Really annoying...



Duel 1
Thankfully, it’s not as late as last report, so I have a memory. Everything I set, he NoC’d. Everything I played, he blew up. Then he’d whip out a Gemini or something and smack me. Kinda uneven like a landslide. I do hate myself for this...I remember making a big mistake...think it involved Nobleman.
Duel 2
How do you say “repeat performance”? Like so: “repeat performance”. I got smashed again. No spot to make mistakes...



Intermission: Popped Sonic Heroes in the Gamecube and played that until the next round.



2nd Round
TrooperDragon vs. Nick
I hate this kid. It’s not his deck, it’s his attitude...by the end of the day, I would have strangled him.



Duel 1
This was fun...Wave-Motion Cannon popped up about 3 times. I do believe it eventually killed him. Gorillas had their fun too.
Duel 2
Hmm...Jinzo came out. Rather early. Instant death. All he could draw were traps. That’s about everything...



Intermission: Began a 40-minute level on Sonic Heroes



3rd Round
TrooperDragon vs. Jesse
I think that’s how it’s spelled. About 2 months ago we finished a duel in a little over a minute. Ever since I’ve been wanting to beat that record. I can honestly say this was the most fun I had that day. I guess his deck was some kind of burn.



Duel 1
Absolutely no memory of anything except Spear Dragon. He did some good damage before dying, and that’s about it.
Duel 2
This was fun...fun fun fun. Early Gorillas and Spear wore him down to below 1000. Then I decided to be crazy and let him go. Using nearly every way possible to abuse Magician of Faith, I must have used Pot/Graceful about 6 times each. My deck ran out before I stomped him down. Good thing, too, I had about 2000LP left from the $^&$* Mass Driver. Never knew that could be so annoying...



Intermission: Became extremely frustrated with level, which am still playing and should have finished by now.



4th Round
TrooperDragon vs. Patrick
God, I hate this guy. Every time I face him, he looks at my deck all weird and he shuffles it weird. And I draw crap. I think he might stack, but have no proof. He has a deck fairly similar to mine.



Duel 1
Sweet revenge. I drew into a few Gorillas and protection, and the next few turns only added to the force. I think his only goodie was Delinquent, which failed in usefulness.
Duel 2
More sweet revenge. Complete annhilation by Spear and Gorilla. Reaper had a few hits as well. Don’t think he had much besides a few 1900's. I walked all over those and then his LP.



Intermission: Used the internet to get hints and found that what I needed to finish, I bypassed twice. Finished the stupid level and became very aggravated with self afterward.



At this point, Ryan, Patrick, and I all had one loss each, tying for 1st place standing. The die was cast, and I ended up facing...Patrick. Again. Sheesh.



5th Round
TrooperDragon vs. Patrick
Complete ripoff.



Duel 1
This is what I’m used to. I drew into a few traps and nothing else. Everything he drew countered my moves perfectly. I had no chance here...
Duel 2
This one I can laugh at. Sure, I got clobbered. But his picking luck is horrible. He played Delinquent around mid-game. Forgetting I get to pick one of the cards to discard, I said to pick 2. He left Snatch Steal. I almost burst out laughing right there...



Anyway, that’s the end of my dueling day. Now I have to wait until next Saturday... Maybe there’ll be a tourney in Las Vegas on May 6,7, or 8. If anybody has any information on this, contact me immediately. Now, time for Props & Slops.
