Completely forgot to make a report for last week. Came out of it with a deck record of 18-1 and first place though. I had to work during most of the prep time, so I was in a rush to get there. Bought 2 DCR packs at the local flea market, and pulled crap. Seriously thinking about forgetting Reflect Bounder. Went to KFC and got Popcorn Chicken. While I sat in the parking lot eating it, the shop dog, Murphy, came out and mooched some of it off me. Then I went in and booted up Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Oops, I almost forgot the deck list...morphed the side deck...

Low turnout...boring. Played Prime until pairings were called.

1st Round
TrooperDragon vs. Lucky
Still the same old stupid warrior deck with the same old stupid brain behind it. So maybe he has a few brilliant moments. Not today though.

Duel 1 & 2
Um...wait...yep, I forgot completely. How is the first round always the most uneventful?

Deck Record: 20-1

Intermission: Played more Prime 2.

2nd Round
TrooperDragon vs. Hitman
The guy that provides us with humor and aggravation. His deck is based around thinning and Inferno Tempest, but I've never seen it work. Basically weirdness.

Duel 1
Oh yeah, Final Countdown. He got that first turn, leaving me with a time limit on stomping him. After a few struggles with Level Limit Area-B and other assorted cards, he was left with an Ordeal of a Traveler and 2 Spells in hand. Ouch.
Duel 2
Yum. No Final Countdown, but lots of LP. Spell Absorbtion got plenty for him, and I got a little back with Hysteric Fairy. Magician of Faith is such a wonderful little card. I got to use it/Graceful about 5 times. I forget how this ended, but BLS was on the field, so that's self-explanatory.

Deck Record: 22-1

Intermission: Put up Prime 2 and became bored.

Round 3 AKA Finals
TrooperDragon vs. Shane
This guy's been living under a rock for about two months. He wanders in with little knowledge of the new ban list after being gone forever. Go figure... At least he was able to get away from Toons. Right now he's got something that looks exactly like Zombie Madness + Jinzo.

Duel 1
Ah, yes...let's see...no Magician abuse this duel... He did, however, screw himself over when he forgot to play Snatch Steal on my DDWL. It cost him the game...
Duel 2
Turtles, Lords, Despairs...everything that can come out of a Zombie deck, came out of the Zombie deck. And, somehow, I got away from it all. This was so much fun...I decreased him to 100 LP, with me at 2600 and with an ATK-position MoF. I got a laugh because his Despair, courtesy of Call of the Mummy, only took me down to 100 LP. I won next turn.

Deck Record: 24-1

Well, this is getting predictable... Maybe somebody will make a deck to counteract mine. I hope so... I dueled Gordon a crapload afterwards, 45 minutes after closing time. My record got much better: 37-5. Oh, before I manage to forget this too...Props 'n' Slops.
