Most of my friends were gone for the pre-release in Des Moines. Therefore, I could not borrow what I usually borrowed. So I was sinister, united we stand’ less. Yeah, cookie-cutter warrior, so sue me, it wins, do not blame me. I had the cards I made it; maybe I should stop defending myself, whatever.

Round 1: Me vs. Jim

Well, I faced a supped-up water structure deck. This one was pretty easy.

He starts with two face down M/T’s, and a face down monster. I MST his

Mirror Force, Nobleman his face down (Mother Grizzly). Reinforment of the

Army for Marauding Captain, play him and special summon Matazza. He

Bottomless’s Maruading. >_>’. I attack him for 2600, set a book of moon,

and Cylinder. He smashing ground’s Matazza, and Delinquent Duo’s. He nails

My D.D. Warrior Lady, and I discard Jinzo. He plays breaker, and nails my book of moon, I don’t chain, because assuming I top deck BLS, he’s dead. He sets nothing. I draw Graceful, draw into a pot, and boom. I got BLS. I attack for 1400, and for 3000.

Second game goes basically the same.

Round 2: Me vs. Anthony

He has me on the ropes with his crappy chaos deck. Mid-game, he has BLS out, with Dark Magician Girl, and Silent Swordsman lvl. 5. Beginning of battle-phase I call of the haunted my Cyber Jar. He thinks it’s funny, He starts laughing, he attacks with DMG,

I book of moon my Cyber Jar. He’s pissed, he’s got nothing on the field, I pulled Matazza,

Marauding, D.D. Assailant, Heavy Storm, and Lighning Vortex. G.G.

Round 3: Me vs. Random from Out of Town

First game went to him, he ran some warrior-burn deck. I couldn’t pull any M/T removal,

His Wave-Motion kills me with it’s 4 counters. Damn him. I get him second game, his second turn, I heavy storm, Nobleman, Graceful, discard Assailant and D.D warrior lady, kept the pot. Used it. Got call of the haunted, and Maruading. I play marauding, special summon Matazza. Premature D.D. Assailant, set Call and Ceasfire, and attack for 5500. He sets 3 M/T’s, and the second he sets his facedown (cyber jar). I play ceasfire, and chain with call. For 2500. 8-) Last game went to me, thank god for BLS.

Top Four…PWNAGE

Round 4: Me vs. Random from Out of Town

Zombie chaos…*shivers.* Seriously, today’s most annoying card would have to be V. Lord. I just couldn’t get rid of him. I had to book of moon him and nobleman, and then he got out his other one. ~_~ Anywho, I get an opening hand heavy storm, he’s got nothing, I delinquent, I nail BLS, and his Delinquent. I summon blade knight. I attack for 1600. Next turn he rams pyramid turtle into blade knight, and brings out V. Lord. He calls Monster (The Idiot >_>’), and I toss a Don Zaloog. I get nothing, I set a Nobleman as a bluff. He doesn’t fall for it, he attacks and calls Monster. I discard BLS, (Have warrior returning alive in hand.) GG I said, he’s only got V. Lord. No M/T, I remove Blade Knight and Don and Attack for 4000.

Down to 2…Hae-eelz Yah

Me(#36 in NE) vs. Nathan (#5 in NE)

Odds against me, we both run cookie cutter. He sets a monster, and two magic/traps. I set 3 Magic, traps, and pass. He flips his Slate Warrior, he attacks, I Scapegoat. Next turn I Book of Moon, and Nobleman. I got rid of all his slates. I marauding, get Matazza, attack…scapegoat. He switches goat to attack mode, creature swaps his goat with my marauding, he sacs it out for Jinzo, he attacks Matazza. Next turn I pull Pot, and draw into Reinforments and Marauding. I get Matazza. I snatch steal his Jinzo, get Maraduing and Matazza out. Attack for 6200. He gains a thousand. He’s at 2800. He ends, I attack, goats. I clear em’ out. GG.

Second game I nail his BLS with a delinquent. I forget about it, so I spend the entire game thinking he’s got it in his hand. >_>’ I run into two goats again, I get 2 blade knights, matazza, and marauding out, he prematures tribe.. >_>’ Get’s slate warrior, calls warrior. And attacks direct. I snatch steal tribe, remove light and dark (Sasuke and Don Zaloof from earlier) for BLS. Premature Matazza, and play Don Zaloog. Attack slate with BLS, and direct for 3600, Matazza for 2600, Tribe for 1600, and Don for 1400. GG

I won, mostly because everyone was gone. I get 5 packs, pull XZY, Judgement of Anubis, and Question. I’m freaking happy, first time I’ve gotten first in awhile. Yay-age. Hope you enjoyed whatever, don’t hate the cookie-cutter, hate the metagame.
