Ok, so I was in a rush trying to get to the tourney today since I had some tennis in the morning. Anyway, so I got there with about 5 minutes to go and bought a pack of Dark Revelation and didn’t get anything haha…anyway, so the dueling began. (*note* this tourney report won’t be that great, I can’t remember much but I’ll try to point out the highlights…oh and I don’t have any lp records cause I didn’t write them down)

Match 1: MashiMar0 (Hmm…Manflesh) vs. Kelvin (Warrior *chaos maybe*)

Duel 1:

So majority of the time, I lose to this guy. Was pretty much the same this time around. I hit him for a bit of damage the first 2 rounds or so, but in the end, bad top decks and not enough removal cost me the duel.

Duels 2:

Ok, so in this duel things were better, he got me down to 3400 and I forgot what he was at. It’s a clear field for him and he summons and attacks with tribe. He sets an m/t and when then he rings tribe, bringing me down to 200 lp. He thought it was game but yea, after some dispute with him, finally ended up winning this one.

Duel 3:

I don’t remember much from this duel…just know that I got out injection and pounded him a few turns as well as keeping him from attacking me. Won this duel and the match.

Record: 2-1

Match 2: MashiMar0 (Hmm…Manflesh) vs. Bye

So yea, after like however many weeks I finally got a bye. So I sat around and watched some other people duel. Traded a messenger of peace and mobius for a sinister. Good for me, since now I only need one more card to finish the new deck. Anyway, on with the report.

Match 3: MashiMar0 (Hmm…Manflesh) vs. Steve (Beast-Earth)

Duel 1:

And yet again, I was killed by lack of field control and stuff…it was close duel though, just kept hitting back and forth. In the end, he ended up snatching something and hit me for the win.

Duel 2:

He actually had 7800 lp with me at around 3400-2400. So anyway, I ended up getting 3 berserk gorilla’s, a gigantes and something else on the field, and smacked them all in for the win.

Duel 3:

Wow…this one was super close. Anyway, don’t remember much from it hahaha but yea, ended up winning this one also.

Record: 4-2

Match 3: MashiMar0 (Hmm…Manflesh) vs. Dez (Burn)

Duel 1:

Man, so I knew he had a burn deck and I figured I’d try things out pre-sideboard. So, I ended up being able to draw all the s/t removal I needed with trunade, storm, and a mst. Then hit with some monsters to finish the duel quickly.

Duel 2:

Ok so this time I stuck in all the s/t removal my sideboard could give me. Ended up losing cause I couldn’t get rid of lava golem with a stealth bird taking me down and a wave motion countin. I was at 3000 and he ended up winning by sacking wave motion on 2nd turn and then lava golem finished me off.

Duel 3:

This one was pretty close, I got stalled forever. Luckily I managed to draw out my s/t removal and got field advantage and slowly hit his lp until I finally one

Record: 6-3

So I ended the day with twice as many wins as I did losses. But anyway, got 2 tp5’s and 2 dark revelations, didn’t get anything except for a wave motion cannon that I needed for my sideboard. So then, once again ended up dueling Omar forever and he actually beat me twice this time.

Props:

Winning my 1st tourney finally

Getting closer to building my new deck

Slops:

Losing to Omar twice haha

Didn’t get a Reflect Bounder
