First Round:
Me(0-0) vs. Eric(0-0)
I won the first match with a Jinzo beat down, enough said haha. Second match he killed me 4th turn which hurt my pride. Third game was quite good, but I eventually took control with Sasuke Samurai #4 with luck on my side. I won with him attacking me and I Magic Cylindered.

Second Round:
Me(1-0) vs. Billy (1-0)
He crushed me two straight with a Blue Eyes deck. Didn’t survive many turns this game.

Third Round:
Me(1-1) vs. Ryan(1-1)
This was an important match for me to win on a couple of notes. 1) He’s beaten me out of Top 8 a couple times in the past; 2) if I wanted to make Top 8, I needed to make sure I kept my record at 1 loss. First game I crushed him with my newly acquired Black Luster Soldier and with the second game I slowly killed him with Sangan =D.

Fourth Round:
Me (2-1) vs. Daniel (2-1)
Another must win, so I tried to play my best. First match I killed him without taking any LP damage and second game I did the same. Solidify my Top 8ness.

Top Eight:
Me(3-1) vs. Rob (2-2)
Akk, first duel he crushed me in 3 turns with my own Jinzo and Chaos Sorcerer and some of his dinos. I was definitely worried after this match. Second duel was very close. He got me down to about 2100LP but I pulled out the close victory with a Ceasefire + Ring of Destruction combo. Third game I crushed him with my tiny warrior army consisting of Marauding Captain, Exiled Force, D.D. Warrior Lady and Sasuke Samurai.

Final Four:
Me(4-1) vs. Billy(4-1)

Definitely wasn’t expecting to win this duel but first game I beat him with pure luck. Situation: He Snatch Steals my Black Luster Soldier and plays Yata. Having only Jinzo in my hand, I was definitely worried. He attacks and I activate Fairy Box. I call both flips right, taking 0 damage. I draw a Magician of Faith and play it. He removes it and attacks with Yata, again I call correctly. I draw again and play another monster face-down. He removes, attacks and I call right yet again. A few more turns of this go by and I end up only taking 200 throughout it all. Meanwhile, I’ve been gaining 500 each turn so my Life Points are pretty high. Finally I draw a Mirror Force and place it. He attacks and I kill his monsters. My turn comes back around and I draw a Graceful Charity. I draw three cards, keeping Pot of Greed. With that I draw Monster Reborn and Mirage Dragon. I Monster Reborn my BLS and play Mirage Dragon and attack. He draws a useless card and I kill him the very next turn. Second game we get into almost the same situation with Yata and Fairy Box but I call it wrong every time. Third game I beat him with two of his Blue Eyes!

Top Two:
Me(5-1) vs. Richard(6-0)
First game I got him down to 600 until he Snatch Steal’d my Black Luster Soldier, Monster Reborn’d my Jinzo and summoned DD Warrior Lady. He killed me that turn. Second game he conceded after I Got Jinzo and Chaos Sorcerer out. Third game I beat him with Jinzo and Sasuke Samurai #4.

Pros:
Winning $12
Beating Rob and Ryan (I don’t like them at all)

Cons:
Matt wasn’t there, so no REAL challenges.
