5 rounds swiss then top 8 carry on elimination

Me and my team (my cousins) went to a tournament in Marston green in Birmingham. My cousins run a zombie deck and a blue eyes deck. I’m 14 and my cousins are 11 btw. It was our first tournament in months so I didn’t expect to do well.

1st round

Ad vs. Ad

So many Adams there today.... We were all against adults :( I don’t remember much apart from he had an average chaos deck he just couldn’t use BLS on me. I won duel 1 then lost 2 and 3. He did come just out top 8 he was in top few most of the day. My cousins lost too so that round was meh

2nd round

Ad vs. ginger man

I forget his name (he smelt weird).... facing all adults yet again. Forget duel as well but lost first and second matches. Damn adults :(

3rd round

Ad vs. Ad

Another Adam... I was right on the last table but the kid was only about 9. First duel he uses card that makes me lose 1000lp. Uses powerful fire cards as I stall and slowly destroy molten destruction, other fire helpers. I get premature burial, use it on sacred crane, draw airknight and kept attacking for duel 1. Duel 2 he uses -1000 lp card on me again. He sets a card and ends. I use delinquent duo, crossout and attack with tribe. He set another card; I attack it and attack directly with mataza. He does nothing and I get game!! Finally a win:) I was just in time to see my cousin lose to a directly attacking lp deck; he couldn’t get past limit area B

4th round

Ad vs. kid slightly younger than me

It was funny because this kid kept saying my deck was annoying; I lost the first duel but then just got everything to counter him for duel 2. Duel 3 I was saved by scapegoats and then a combination of penguin soldier, magician of faith, and mask of darkness finished him off easily. My cousins were facing the little kids and both got their first wins go them.

5th round

Ad vs. some girl

She kept doing lp going up to 8000 for some reason. She kept making moves really slowly and distracted me a lot, slow people are so annoying. She used a chaos deck with all those expensive annoying cards I can’t afford. She won duel 1 when she had about 2000lp left or 6000 in her weird way of keeping score, she beat me in duel 1 with jinzo and that card that reborns every turn and destroy all spell/traps.. I won duel 2 with tribe and her snatch stealed something. She was going so slowly by now she beat me in duel 3 with black luster soldier that I had been able to handle in each duel up till this last one.



Final Results

Me 2-3 ranked 50 zombie deck cous 2-3 won his last match against a lil kid finished ranked bout 56 and blue eyes deck cous 1-4 finished ranked 60 after I looked at his deck he had about 3 blue eyes, 2 hyozanryu, 2 red eyes, armed dragon level 5 and helpoemer, way too many tributes with nothing to help summon them.



They had some cheap shop thing there I bought a pack for £2 and got reshef from lost millennium which I then traded for a behemoth king of animals and a 5 star fusion card that every morph player has in their fusion deck. Unfortunately I had to go before the final but you can find the results on www.yugiohtradingcard.co.uk then by going to the tournament section.

So many adults owning everyone, all people under 17 or so were outside the top 16
