Round 1: Me vs. Dragon Deck
This is my first tournament. I always wanted to see how my deck would stand in tournament play so here goes. The tournament was huge with 41 players.This round I was playing a kid with a dragon deck made up of mostly the new dragon structure deck the first match I was winning then ran into a fiber pod, after that I could not draw a monster and lost. The next two rounds I got the XYZ Dragon Cannon out and smashed. I win on to round 2.
Round 2: Me vs. Insect Deck
This round I played a guy who had a weird insect/burn deck. I thought this duel would be a little tougher cause I’ve never played an insect deck. The first match I got Dark Balter onto the field and owned. The second round went similar to the first with the XYZ Dragon Cannon and Black Luster soldier crushing everything that reached the field.
Two wins in a row on to round three.
Round 3: Me vs. Beat Down
The third round I played a guy with a beat down deck. This match went pretty quickly, he swarmed me early both rounds and I lost. Oh, well made it to round three not bad for my first tourney.
