My Deck: Gravekeeper's

Note: I can't seem to find any Gravekeeper's Spies, so that's why
they are not in my deck.

Side Deck:
Well, before I went to the tournament, I had a quick duel with my
friend at his house, and during that time, I took my side deck out
and forgot to put it back in my pocket. So I had no side deck for
the tournament.

The Tournament:

There were 3 rounds of approximately 45-minute rounds to determine
the top 8. The the top 8 would duke it out for the prizes.

1st Round: vs Burn deck

His deck mainly consisted of weak monsters and some weak burn cards,
with an occasional rare holofoil card or so.

Duel 1:
I started the duel. I didn't remember what really happened but I do
remember he took 4400 damage on the second turn because I crossed out
his monster and he had no facedown cards. I got Chief, a Spearsoldier
and a Necrovalley. He was finished off during my next turn.

Duel 2:
He started, and basically, the same thing happened, except he Snatched
my GK Guard and played a Swords of Revealing Light, stalling a bit.
But afetr the Swords blew up, I killed my own GK guard with an
GK Assailant and destroyed him.

Record: 1 Win, 0 Loss

2nd Round: vs Burn deck

This deck was actually quite good, considering it actually stalled,
unlike the last deck I faced. But he was like much older than the kid
I faced and older than me too.

Duel 1:
He played Wave-Motion Cannon and set a Stealth Bird. For my turn, I
couldn't believe I didn't have any strong monster, so I set a Guard
and ended. He flipped Stealth, and returned it facedown. He then
Nobleman'd my Guard, which was bad!!! I didn't have anything, so I
just set a Tomato. He flipped Stealth Bird, and returned it facedown.
I finally drew a Nobleman and killed the pesky Stealth Bird. I summoned
an Assailant and attacked him with both. He plays a series of cards
dropped me down to 900, then summons Lava Golem. Obviosuly, I lost.

Duel 2:
Again, no Necrovalley, although I did destroy Wave Motion Cannon, but
then I had nothing to stop Gravity Bind. Somehow, my s/t removal ran
away. I just got killed by a series of burn.

Record: 1 Win, 1 Loss

3rd Round:

this guy used a Warrior deck, but since 1/2 his deck seemed negated
Necrovalley, he just got obliterated. I killed him so quickly I
forgot what happened.

Record: 2 Wins. 1 Loss


Well, after the 3 rounds, my record wasn't good enough so I left.
However, I did find a kid who sold some commons and I bought some
cheap cards off him. I finally found 3 Malice Dolls of Demise!!
YEAH!!
