Round 1: Me(0-0) vs. Myles Mcfadden (Rescue cat OTK)

It sucked that I had to face a team member first round. He was trying out a new deck this week.

Game 1: My Cyber Jar and Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi wipe out his hand. UFO Turtles finish him slowly.

Game 2: He slaughters me with Rescue Cats and last will. I wish I had brought a side deck...

Game 3: I trinity him and then Heavy Storm his last remaining hope. Good Game.


Round 2: Me(1-0) vs. Nathan Burget (Chaos, or as I like to call it has black luster in his deck, goat control)

Nathan is ranked third in Colorado and usaully beats me.

Game 1: He gets a good hand and BLS-EotB comes out early. I top Snatch Steal to save me after a big attack. I get a godly Cyber Jar with 4 monsters and him 0. I ring for win.

Game 2: He Pot and delinquents but I also pot and delinquent on my turn. We both are top decking early but my tributes screw me over. His multiple Blade Knights kill me.

Game 3: He gets out Thousand Eyes restrict for a long time. I build up forces until I get my combo pieces ready. I ring Thousand Eyes restrict and giant trunade and Hino-Kagu wipe out a huge hand. I win soon after.

Round 3: Me(2-0) vs. Brian Dunlap (Chaos goat control)

Brian is a deadly duelist and usaully slaughters his opponent. I was nervous about this match.

Game 1: I draw about 10 cards using yamata dragon and kill him with huge card advantage early.

Game 2: His morphing jar gives me a god hand and I kill his with Hino-Kagu. 3 flame rulers attack for the win.

Round 4: Me(3-0) vs. Eben Wong (Chaos goat control)

Game 1: I get screwed by thousand eyes restrict and tsukyomi. He slowly widdles me down. His magician of faith pots 3 times.

Game 2: He gets out bls and attacks my face down Iron blacksmith kotetsu. I grab snatch and kill him
with bls.

Game 3: Both Fairy meteor crushes dominate his scapegoats and he puts up almost no fight.

Round 5: Me(4-0) vs. Luke (Chaos)

Another member of the Full-Metal Duelists. He is ranked in the top 20 in the country and is extremely skilled. He actually built the deck I was using. He couldnt make it to nationals due to a family emergency.

Game 1: He sets a spirit reaper. I attack but he sakuretsu armors. He heavys my face down card and summons another spirit reaper then flips his face down one and discards 2 cards from my hand. His card advantage kills me.

Game 2: I trinity him but he slowly makes a comeback somehow. We're even in cards but he top decks pot and bls for the win.

Top 8

Round 1: Me vs. Nick Vangundy (chaos goat control)

Game 1: He summons reflect bouder and ends. I graceful and then premature a discarded flame ruler. I tribute for Yamata Dragon and set my hand. I go way up in card advantage. Duo him and kill him soon after.

Game 2: I keep getting sangan effects and my tribe kills 2 blade knights and a dd assailant. Yamata delivers a finishing blow.

Round 2: Me vs. Xai Vu (Max Suffrige nationals deck, I think?)

Game 1: He uses Tsukyomi to use Mag of Faith like 5 times getting back graceful. His Gravekeeper spys swarm me. I have no comebacks to swarms.

Game 2: I use giant trunade and he activates goats but I Fairy Meteor Crush them with Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi. Good game.

Game 3: We both ring and I cylinder him. Fairy Meteor crush his goats and both life points drain fast. His drain faster.

Round 3 Finals: Me vs. Luke (Chaos)

Game 1: Mag of Faith and book of moons own me. I get of hino-kagu-tsuchi's attack but its too little too late. I get screwed with 3 tributes in my hand.

Game 2: bls comes out early. His book of moons protect it from snatch and ring and my death soon follows.


Well I got second but my team won anyways. I sold half a box for $25.
