Well this is my fun deck to play,as I've said on earlier tourney reports I enjoy playing with decks that you normally don't see and Archfiends are a rare thing at least in Pensacola. This was a day before my son's 12th Bday so my wife made cupcakes and cookies for the whole tourney and everyone seemed to be in a good mood there were about 25 people in this event,it's a 3 round beginning and best records go to the final 8.

Round 1
I had to play a friend of mine named Brian he runs a metamorphisis/phoenix type of deck. This was going to be a tough match because if you lost this one you don't make the final 8.The first game was back and forth until I get Terrorking on the field and I just abused his MOF's he tried to ring one of them but I was hot with my dice rolls and negated it,same with a sakuresku armor.Game 2 got ugly he got that Phoenix out and pummeled me,Ouch baby..very Ouch.Game 3 was a nail biter he went for the kill summoning phoenix and I bottomless it,I then used call got terrorkings out and just killed all his effect monsters for game.

Round 2
The most irratating deck in history, this kid had gravity binds but no monster's to work around them I had to wait until I drew heavy storm in order to do anything. Now I don't mind a burn deck because my son uses one but at least have the cards that go in it,and he had 2 premature burials.Enough said.

Round 3
Another of those Meta/BLS decks that people are stealing from Metagame .com(come on people be original)The 1st game he beats me pretty convincingly I was going to side deck but I say no and suck it up.The second game is about even until he summons Bls I trigger scapegoat and he ended his turn.I snatch his Bls sacked it for Great Maju 6000 attack well you do the math. The next game he side decks ,this duel goes well until I summon Terrorking he uses his metamorphisis I roll you guessed it a 5 to negate it’s effect I then smashing ground it and just pummel him,on to the final 8.

Final 8 Match 1
I steamroll him and he concedes the match he was happy just to make it to the final 8.I can’t knock him when I first learned to play this game that was a big deal to me as well.

Match 2
This guy was interesting I saw him take apart one of the BLS/Metamorphisiss decks, this guy was running straight burn so I figured that I would have to side deck to play him.He was bragging that he hadn’t lost a match the whole day,you should have seen the look on his face when I wiped him out the first game, burn decks are good except when all you get are monsters with no gravity binds or level limit’s I just steam rolled his monsters because they were weak I finished him off by tributing the lava golem he gave me for Maju Garzett another 6000 shot. The 2nd game I side decked to put in my level 3 stuff my pawns simply owned him.

Match 3
This kid I played before he runs another of those BLS/meta hybrid decks that you find on Metagame. At anyrate we start out and he keeps flipping his MOF while I draw crap and he beats me down.Game 2 my Archiend soldiers wear him out,I believe I bottomlessed his BLS(good I hate that card)and I poured it on from there.Game 3 he simply got better hands I had him on the ropes but I ran into his Morphing jar which saved the day for him giving him a clear hand advantage and he just wore me down.Oh well 2nd place isn’t bad.

Props
- To my kids for enjoying their Bday’s and having fun
-My wife for cooking all those deserts that got eaten in record time
-Greg for running the tournament and allowing us to bring food there.
-For parents who care what their kids are doing.
Slops
- To those posers who go to all these sites steal someone else deck or idea for a deck and try to play it off as their own.

-Guys that don’t bring their own calculator
-People that are in tournaments but don’t know how to play.
