The story starts out with my mom dropping me and my friend Anthony
off at the Back Stop hobby shop that I have been waiting to go to
since I moved here a couple of years ago. When we got there I found
out the store was very small and hard to duel in. I asked the owner to
register me and he said I needed $10 that I didn't have on me. So,
Ant calls my mom with his cell phone outside and asks my mom to
bring 10 bucks. I eventually get it, and a late entry. Some nice kid checks

my deck for stuff like restrictions, gods, fakes, etc.

Round One
Me (Fire) VS. Little Kid (Mix of Zombie & Water)

From the start I thought this was going to be a squash match.
But the first match of three turned out very different. I got
a bad start hand, and he eventually summoned a strong water
monster that I could'nt beat...yet. He finishes me for Match One.

In Match Two, I came back twice as strong as him and used about
every card in my deck together at once in a huge combo, and the
tide hs turned.

Me- 1 Him - 1

Match Three was very short. I guess he lost confidence in his
deck, and I beat him quickly.



Round Two

Me (Fire) VS. Matt (?)



The entire store (all 11 duelists, Ant, and parents/owners) were waiting for us

to finish Roud One, this gave me no time to study and fix my deck.



Match One

Once I found out that this kid lived Yugioh, he destroyed in both

Matches. But it's ok because he was one of the top guys there, and I'm

a newcomer, a natural defeat I took.



Since this was a Single Elimination Tourney, I was knocked out.



Pros :

Competing in my first 'real' Tourney

Ranking 4th out of 11 (I don't know how they rank guys)

Doing better than I thought I would



My mom driving me to this place that I

wanted to go to or a while



Being beaten when I was so close, and to a veteran of the store.

Getting Damian, a 24 year old that goes there, to fix my deck afterwards.

Having fun there



Cons :

Anthnony for not entering (he had the money)

Losing

a Top 10 list when my Jinzo Deck was unbeatable in my circle of friends.
