TOURNEY REPORT!
We played in the new advanced format.

Not much to tell here. It was a small tourney, since the YGO fan base is fairly small around here.
Matches were done randomly, so we wound up with some pretty even brackets to begin with, but the finals
were my easiest two games.

MATCH 1:
Preturbed vs RJ
Warrior Chaos

Round One:
I took him down fairly quickly. He got some good hits in but I outdrew him and killed him with the power
of my BLS.

Round Two:
Worst. Hand. Ever. I drew no monsters, and graceful. Graceful brought me... nothing of use. It took me
like 3 turns to actually get a monster and by the time I did, I was down to 3800. He killed me on my
own bad draws.

Round Three:
No more fooling around. Death comes quickly.

MATCH 2:
Preturbed VS MagicWeasel
Phoenix Control w/ BLS

I was disappointed to see this matchup so early. He is normally the #1 ranked player in the store.
His view on the new bans hasn't quite solidifed yet, as I saw in the following two rounds.

Round One
This isn't all that happened, but I morphed TER for his Face Up Apprentice Mag., which basically
screwed the phoenix strategy. I heavy stormed, then grabbed a face down Apprentice(!) next turn.
tributed for airknight and special summoned BLS. That was all but game. He died the next turn.

Round Two:
Side in nobleman, ceasefire. Side out 1x enemy controller, 1x vortex.

He really put up a fight this time, much as I had expected. I employed much the same strategy this
time, but I had to put up with the Phoenix hitting the field first turn. No big deal, I grabbed it
with Restrict and got in a good solid hit. We went back and forth a lot in this game, but I abused
my flip effects to no end. I used MoF effect 3 times, hitting the pot two more times than should be
legal, and using charity one extra time. Combo that with Airknight and the Mimics, and... I almost
decked myself. But I won.

Me vs Some Random Lucky Guy

Round One:
Easy takedown. 2 Minutes.

Round Two:
See above. Sorry the finals were boring.
