Hey people, I’m back after a freakin’ long absence, having switched names again. My old name was DuelinMasta. Anyway, after a few months of tinkering and checking what’s floating around today’s meta, I threw this together. It actually worked a heck of a lot better than I thought it would. Before I forget, here’s the deck.

Lately, I’ve become addicted to the game Animal Crossing, which the store owners play, so we conducted business for a while. Then pairings were called, and the death commenced.



1st Round
TrooperDragon vs. Jose
I like to call him Lucky, even though he never is. He has an Earth/Warrior deck that hasn’t been modified since who knows when.



Duel 1
Writing this at 12:39 AM takes its toll on my memory. I can’t remember much of this. It was over in about 4 turns because of a timely Assailant and Snatch, but that’s all I recall.
Duel 2
I remember the finishing move here. He had 2 s/t and a Hayabusa Knight. I had a Berserk Gorilla and a f/d Magician of Faith. He had 2000LP, so I Snatched ‘Busa, he Tornadoed it, and I got it back with MoF and Snatched again and swooped in for the kill.
Record: 2-0



Intermission: nothing...



2nd Round
TrooperDragon vs. ? (1 of 4 brothers, got names mixed up)
...I guess this was supposed to be a Zombie deck...basically a mix of stuff and Zombies.



Duel 1
Absolutely no memory of this game whatsoever. I won, though.
Duel 2
Really sorry, can’t remember much of anything here. Snatched a Regenerating Mummy with my Jinzo and DDWL for the kill...
Record: 4-0



Intermission: Bought my traditional 24oz Wild Cherry Pepsi for $1.25



3rd Round
TrooperDragon vs. Gamecube
This system of theirs is really ticking me off...



Intermission: Wages war against the Gamecube



Finals
TrooperDragon vs. Arturo
One of the judges and also one of the scariest people I’ll ever meet. I think, with my help, he might set a world record number of losses to a single duelist. ;-P He still runs a Dark deck as old as Jose’s deck.



Duel 1
Sakuretsu Armor killed him. It was there to save my behind each time I was left with nothing. A timely Jinzo showed up and that was the end of that.
Duel 2
After this duel I was ready to kill myself. Late game I had topdecked a Newdoria against his Dark Ruler Ha Des and Kycoo. I suicided it into Kycoo, choosing Kycoo for the effect. He then topdecked another Kycoo and killed me. I would have had 300LP left if I had used the effect on Ha Des...*offscreen, bangs head against wall*
Duel 3
Hmm...3 steps. Assailant>Gorilla>Jinzo. Basically defense for the first 2-3 turns, then laid out an offense that wasn’t really blockable. Overkill situation.



I got first...whoopie. Got 2 Legacy of Darkness packs for my prize (Marauding Captain). Pulled a Yamata Dragon and Reinforcement of the Army. I then proceeded to buy 4 more packs and pull a Luster Dragon and Exiled Force as well. I got to kill a few more people before I had to go.



Now, for my all-time favorite part of the reports...Props and Slops.



Props:
-Winning
-Pulling 4 of 6 holos
-Having a deck I threw together in 5-10 minutes actually work
-Getting a crapload of stuff on Animal Crossing
-Getting 3 Drop Off for my to-be control deck
-Earning the trust of the storekeeper (very important)
-The deck working so freakin’ well



Slops:
-Little brothers of one guy bothering me from 3rd round on
-Making that stupid mistake in the finals
-Not getting a Marauding Captain
-2 of the people I needed to talk to not being there (gone to Elitch’s)
-Nobody having a D.D. Assailant (except me, of course)
