Welcome to this,
another super exciting edition of the tournament
report!
Well, this one is
going to be short and sweet. Earlier in the day, I play tested a deck
destruction deck and it did way better than I thought it would. I dueled several
people with it and did not lose but one game. I even decked out a 50 card deck.
Twice. Ok, it wasn't the best deck in the world, but keeping the churn going
with only 40 cards in the deck is a pretty major
feat.

He wins the die roll
and chooses to go first. I draw Tsukuyomi, Hiro's, Pot, Shallow, BoM and Book of
Taiyou, now refered to as BoT.
He summons an Elf,
sets 3 S/T and ends his turn.
I play Pot and he
Magic Jams it. Oh, frack. That sucks. Oh well. I set Hiro's, BoM and end my
turn.
He sets 1 S/T and
summons Exiled Force. WT?! That's amazingly lucky. He attacks with the Elf.
I draw MoF and set
it.
He plays Pot and then
NoC's my Magicians! WT?!?! This is going from BAD to WORSE in a major
HURRY! He attacks again with the Elf.
I draw a LLAB and
activate it. He chains with a Dust Tornado! NO!! Can this be happening!?! I set
Tsukuyomi. I am sucking big time here.
He attacks with the
Elf again, I turn it to defense with Tsukuyomi's
effect.
I draw Cyber Jar. This
could either help me or totally kill me. I set it, play BoT on it and get 2 BoM,
2 Desert Sunlight and LLAB. Hot darn! I set the LLAB and that actually stalls
well for a while.
I got a Needle Worm
out and chained Desert Sunlight, Book of Moon, Desert Sunlight and Book of Moon
to get him to dump 10 cards, then 5 more next
turn.
He had one card left
in his deck when he attacked me with Injection for the win. If I could only have
lasted for one more turn!
GAME
2
Oh man, this one is
over faster than the first!! Exiled Force, NoC and Heavy Storm clear me out
early and my Desert Sunlights come up at the wrong time, after NoC has done it's
dirty work. Gosh, I am disappointed!
Well, we hang out and
duel some more but, my heart isn't in it. I am demoralized and go home early.
Tear....
